Great experience from start to finish with Energy Renovation Center. From the initial contact, permit submission, installation and finish they were on top of the details. When I did have questions they were responsive. The initial sales contact and meeting was not a high pressure sale at all.

Do yourself a favor and do your research on the contractor. License number 1009326 This company uses a contractors license that resides in Texas. They just use sub-contractors that are inexperienced and do not know what they are doing. My roof was pouring water down after installation of panels! After five attempts to fix the leaks I told energy renovation center I wanted someone else to fix my roof. Since then they have not processed the permission to operate with Edison and left me still paying a large electric bill as if I didn’t have solar. They have also filed a lien against my property that I have to deal with now. They furnished a document with my forged signature, which they have been known to do in the past based on past violations. Look up the contractors license number on clsb (contractor state license board) website. 1009326
He has been found to produce fraudulent documents, Abandon jobsites and many other violations. This contractor is a complete crook. It would be difficult to find a contractor this bad. Spare yourself the headache.

Once we decided to go solar, we utilized the website EnergySage and received quotes from 8 different solar companies. Energy Renovation Center was by far the best customer service, price, and warranty on products that we found. Everyone from the designers, installers, and project managers went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with our system. I would absolutely recommend ERC to anyone looking to go solar!

Do not fall for the "We pay close attention to detail when it comes to taking care of our clients. " NOT TRUE!

My panels were installed 01/29/2021. My panels stopped working 09/19/2022. The moment I realized there was no production I contacted the company, they gave me the phone number for SMA, without any further investigation, any questions, nothing. I mentioned that I had changed my wifi username so they assumed it was a monitoring issue, again, without any further investigation. I have been calling them possibly every week since and they keep saying it is the wifi. Rachel and Nikole, both of them without going over the system logs or trying to figure out what the problem is. When I asked them to send a technician out they said it would be a $299 service call fee, for a system they installed less than a year ago.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Please do not use this company. I made the mistake of referring them to my parents and now I regret it, because on the first bump on the road they did not rise up to the occasion.

I can’t tell you how excited we are about working with energy renovation center getting our solar panels installed and our quiet cool whole house fan installed. We used our quiet cool fan last night for the first time, it was so quiet and our whole house cooked down almost instantly. We ran the fan all night long and didn’t have to use our air conditioner so we are extremely excited about this new venture we set out on. I am referring my family and friends to do business with energy renovation center to enjoy saving money and to be able to utilize these energy efficient tools to help them! Can’t say how happy we are with this company and the great deal we received

Nick Ochoa came to my house as a referral from friends who were in the process of installing their solar panels. I felt comfortable because if they were comfortable signing off with Nick Ochoa I would be too.
This rep is not honest and the company washes their hands by saying he is independent worker yet he calculated my rate and the offers that are given to everyone else I didn't receive. So makes you think he got the bonus by lying to me.
Do NOT use this company NO response to my complaint regarding this rep, NO response from Nick either.
When you do business honesty is everything and they don't have not shown that in any way!!!

To your response he did offer me THE PATIO NOT TRUE AS YOU STATE but 1 panel does not compare to the cost of the patio cover at all. PLEASE LISTEN TO RECORDING AS YOU GUYS STATE YOU HAVE. HE TOOK ADVANTAGE AND HE GOT THE BONUS BY NOT GIVING ME THE PATIO AS HE OFFERED TO ME

Our solar install went very well. The equipment that was installed failed a couple of times, but that was no fault of the energy renovation center. They were quick to come out and replace it each time. Great communication between the office and the technicians on our job too.

Company does not communicate or return calls. Panels are not working and have left messages. Front desk promises that I will get call back same day from project manager and have not. My energy bill is adding up and they state they are not responsible. False promises, horrible customer service. I will be filing a claim with the better business bureau.
