I recently completed an upgrade of my 15 year old solar system at my home in Los Angeles and utilized Paragon Sun for the project. Unlike a new install, there were challenges with my aging system that required merging my two separate systems into one. Paragon Sun planned everything in detail, and ordered all the hardware to insure compatibility. The system included a battery, combiner, and system controller. The project was designed to code and Paragon submitted the proposal to LADWP which issued a permit in approximately six weeks. The actual install was done by two very friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced technicians. The job took 3 days. I can now follow my solar production daily on a sophisticated app on my iPhone. The staff at Paragon Sun were superb, responded quickly to several of my inquiries, and were always professional. I was extremely pleased with the company and the final outcome. They are the real deal; a 5 star company. I recommend them without reservation.

We decided to get solar and a backup battery installed late 2021 to help reduce our electric cost and provide backup power for outages as we both work from home. Its been a few months since the installation was completed. Which was great timing for the current heat waves and power outages. We worked with Paragon from start to finish on our solar and battery system and they were outstanding. Paragons staff was attentive, built a system to our needs, and continued to provide service and support at a high level even months after our installation. For example, just a few days before the heat wave started a SoCal Edison tech came to upgrade our electric meter. During that process he had disconnected our battery system leaving us with no backup! After seeing what happened we called Paragon Sun for support and they had a technician out promptly! They got our system back up and running just in time as the next day power went out for our neighborhood. Fortunately for us, my wife and I, were able to continue to work with our A/C running and had no interruptions to our power. I am so happy we went with Paragon, and I would highly recommend anyone considering getting solar / battery for their home.

We decided to get solar to help reduce our electricity cost.
After getting a few quotes, we selected ParagonSun. This was such a great experience from start to finish. Cori and her team were easy to reach and gave us all the information we needed to understand the process and make a decision. We had so many questions (roof replacement, tax incentives, interconnection agreement, battery, etc.) and they were with us at each step of the way. We also did not feel pressured to make a decision quickly which was not the case with the other companies we contacted.
The installation was scheduled quickly after signing the contract. The team arrived on time and completed the job within 2 days.
The entire experience was very pleasant and we are very satisfied with the result. I strongly recommend this company and would definitely go with them again in the future.

I needed to replace an Enphase microinverter on my old (10+ years) PV system, but my original installer/maintainer had gone out of business. I called several other companies asking if they would take over as my system maintainer, but they would only work on systems they had installed themselves. In contrast, ParagonSun stepped in as my new maintainer and quickly installed a replacement mincroinverter that Enphase had already mailed to me under warranty. The installer, Marvin, arrived exactly on time and was very friendly and efficient. Probably because my system is so ancient, there was a glitch after the installation, but it was quickly resolved when I reported it. My contact at ParagonSun, Cori Larsen, was very knowledgable and exceptionally responsive, both before and after the invoice was paid. I contacted her a handful of times, and she replied quickly, by the end of the day (within the hour in a couple of cases). THE best customer service I’ve had from any company within memory. ParagonSun’s service call charge was pretty high ($475), but for such excellent service was worth every penny.

We recently completed our Solar Conversion and had a fantastic experience. The team at Paragon were on top of everything from day one to ensure we met the date we needed. They were always available to answer our 100000 questions throughout the process and kept us informed along the way.

As part of our work we also needed some roofing and a new box to handle the new system. They set us up with some great roofers and an awesome electrician and it was all smooth and enjoyable.
