Our first contact with Nova West was over the phone with Ian West. We were so impressed with Ian we set up a face to face meeting on the spot. We had previously spoke with other solar companies and could tell Ian was different. He answered all our questions and we could tell he was knowledgeable and well versed in the world of solar energy and storage. Cesar and his crew did a neat and professional insulation in a timely fashion. PG&E was contacted and we were up and running producing power. We highly recommend Nova West.

I have researched every solar company that has done business in Fresno, and found that Nova West Solar was by far the most honest, the most reasonable, with the best quality equipment. Their staff knows solar, and can answer any questions that you may have. I would recommend them strongly, and have recommended them to family and friends.
I have used Nova West Solar on three different occasions on different properties, and I would use them in a heartbeat if I had another property. They easily earned their five stars.

We had some bumps in the road during the transition from the previous owners but the new owner did everything in his power to fix the situation. I am so happy with Andrew, Ian, Cesar and the Team at Nova West. We have added panels to our system and everything was amazing. The Team showed up on time and worked quickly. Andrew has checked on us several times since the upgrade to make sure everything is running smoothly. Highly recommend Nova West!

Nova West solar is a local company with a big-business mentality. They understand everything about solar. They have a roofing contractor and a qualified electrician. The installers were courteous and neat. After completion the yard was cleared of all packing materials and you wouldn't even know they were there.
The office manager Andrew is fantastic. He is polite and very knowledgeable about solar. Never gets upset even if you call him five times a week. (I know that for a fact.) After having our system for almost two years Andrew still gives me wonderful customer service. In my book he is the back bone to this company. While attending the Home Improvement Show, we scheduled appointments with two solar companies. We met with sales representatives and received quotes from both companies, but still had unanswered questions. In an effort to gain additional information, we contacted an acquaintance who had installed solar several years ago. He highly recommended Nova West. I called the office to make an appointment. To my surprise, the solar consultant, who answered the phone, was able to confidently address all of my questions. A few days later, we met with him. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. In terms of cost -- two of the three quotes were similar. Nova West was ultimately selected because of the knowledge, experience, and expertise of the consultant. Nova West completed the project in a timely manner, as promised. The crew was on time, courteous, and professional. The job-site was always clean after the crew left. We are very pleased with our decision to use Nova West Solar and are anxious to see reduced PG&E bills in future months.

I researched 25 different companies and narrowed it down to having 4 at the house to give their presentation and bids. I picked Nova West Solar because they were a local company that does everything in house with all quality products. My system looks great on the house and is putting out more electricity than documented. The best part of Nova West Solar is how they handled things when things did not go as expected. The management made sure things were fixed quickly and I was happy with the outcome. The entire crew really cares about your home and the work they do. Do yourself a favor and bring them to your house to talk about what they can do for you.

Nova West solar installed our home solar panels and the experience went very smoothly. Salesman, Ian Rock, did an excellent job of describing how the system would work and all of our options for panel placement. The installation crew were courteous and very professional and made sure everything was working correctly. After installation, Ian returned to make sure our system was running smoothly and we were maximizing its efficiency. We were pleased with the workmanship and glad we made the right choice.

If you are looking for an established local company that is going to stick around and care about you as a customer this is the place. Ian Rock in Sales was great, he never oversold the product, and he is trustworthy. We had a ground mount with A LOT of rock in the way that was VERY challenging, but they were able to overcome that and make it happen. The installation did have some snags that really concerned me at the time. Let’s just say a few items did not meet what I would say are "Nova West Standards". One of the Owners Rob became personally involved and met me in person at the property to review my concerns. They worked very hard to resolve all the issues and in the end, I am very happy. Any company can get a good review when everything goes flawlessly without a hitch. The great ones are there when things don't go as planned, stick by their customers, and have a willingness to tackle issues to make their customers happy.
