We are so pleased to see a 2 year journey come to fruition! As a General Contractor ourselves, we took our time (many years ) to research solar for our home. For many years we fielded pushy sales calls from random companies. When we made the decision to move forward, we chose SolSource based on a personal recommendation. Travis spent 2 years working with us, as our property had some unique challenges. He was patient and helpful as we evaluated the best placement for the system. We had been considering a solar system for about three years and had interviewed several solar companies, some well established and some not. We didn’t feel comfortable with any of them, most were way too pushy and short on substance, so we put off getting solar. After three years we stumbled into Travis and SolSource Energy, of all places on the softball diamond. Travis was and is informative, knowledgeable, professional and excited about the solar industry, and just as important, he wasn’t pushy. Travis explained the entire process from start to finish, financing options, the permit process, the intricacies of solar operating & equipment, interface with SDG&E, and monitoring our energy output. In addition, we did a reroof with Ryan at Major League Roofing as part of the project, and that was also seamless. The installers for both were top notch, prompt, experienced, and courteous.

Are you sick of paying over $400/Bill with SDG&E? I am so Happy watching my meter go backwards! Having Sol Source install solar on my house was one of the BEST decisions I’ve ever made! The staff: RJ, George Chapman, Anissa and Travis are top notch! They are Honest, professional & take pride in their work. They had my Panels up and running darn quick too! Passing the SDG&E inspection was a breeze. I shopped around (Costco was a rip off to me) and got an incredible fair, competitive deal with Sol Source . We ended up buying (instead of leasing) my property value increased and I now have air con for free ! This company does NOT just install and bolt either - they track my usage and panel outputs. RJ also patiently taught us how to use the app on our phones to track the outputs as well. I feel good about doing something to save the environment and have encouraged all my friends and neighbors to do the same ?.

The guys from SolSource were very professional and finished installing my new solar panels quickly. I was kept in the loop with each step of the process, coordinated with SDGE for inspections and they even did most of the work with the finance company. And I love not paying huge electric bills each month!

When I originally contacted SolSource I was in complete crisis mode. I had been screwed over by my original solar company....after a year of waiting for them to finish the job. Just one excuse after another.
No company wanted to come out and "finish" a job that had already been started.
Being a single mom with limited resources I was literally in tears when I talked to Travis
the owner of SolSource.
He was apprehensive, but agreed to come out and atleast look.
Not only had the previous solar company not done what they had said, but what they had done was wrong and would never pass inspection.
Travis reluctantly agreed to not only redo everything, but also warranty it for me.
To top it off he had his amazing electrition R.J. out there on the weekend, even Sunday to get it done. R.J. was amazing, even missing his wedding anniversary to complete it.
They had it signed off with the inspector Tuesday, and 2 days later SDG&E gave the approval to turn it on!!
I would recommend SolSource to anyone needing solar or solar repair. This company isn't just about the bottom line, they are good people.
