Would definitely recommend to a friend. The total price for the smog check & certification was $40, which is almost half of what I was quoted at another business.

This is a very small location but the services are adequate. I was able to make an appointment, have my car inspected, & receive my smog certification all in the same morning. I went straight to the DMV & the certification papers were sufficient for what I needed.

Terrible shop! The tech purposely failed my smog test over a small worn dipstick grommet! Doesn’t have any relation to the smog test, by his own admission! It’s simply a ploy to get an extra $10 for a re-test. I overheard him doing the same to another person who got their car tested before mine. Very shady…proceed with caution! Plenty of other shops nearby with better ratings.

I love this place! This is the third or fourth time I've come here for my smog check. The owner is always very friendly, and the work gets done quickly and at a good price. Definitely recommended!

I waited about 10 minutes for my turn. Took a quick two lap walk around the block and my smog check was done. The car, paperwork and an $8 discount were awaiting me. I was very pleased with this service.

Can't communicate with the people who work here. Both the guy in front of me in line and I couldn't figure out what we needed to do, how long it was going to take, how to get in line, if we needed an appointment, etc. We both left to go to another place. It was like talking to a stroke victim – the worker just says incoherent things and walks away mid conversation.

I called around, Middlefield gave me the best quote. My van was in test about 15 minutes after I arrived and the check itself didn't take long. Even tho it was a pass (whew!), the tech gave me a very thorough explanation of the results and helpful insight into the condition of my vehicle. The tech went the extra mile to help me feel taken care of and to make sure that I understood what he was pointing out. I'll be back here for my next check for sure.
