Asbestos abatement is never something you want to do, but if you're doing to do it, do it right! Shout out to the team at Altura for their services. They were able to come out quickly to get us an estimate at a convenient time, their team was friendly and communicated well with us throughout the process and quoted us a fair price. They completed the work pretty quickly and once we got the all clear from the air inspection a final walkthrough to review. All in all, a fairly straightforward process for something that could have been much more complicated!

Our house was declared a major asbestos spill from a previous contractors work. Manny and team were able to come in and make the house safe to live in again.

Manny was extremely professional, responded very quickly, and overall the experience was the most pleasant experience I had working with any contractor on the property period.

Furthermore, Manny suggested several options to attempt to help us save money on the remediation, and also allowed for a payment plan to deal with the unexpected expense.

Finally, the most impressive was the speed. The remediation only took Manny and his team a few days.

No one wants to find asbestos in their home, but if you do I would personally recommend Altura in a heartbeat.

Manny and company at Altura did a great job of remediating my Asbestos in the ceilings of a new home purchase (new to me, was built in the 70's...).

We knew right away we wanted to get rid of the popcorn ceilings. Manny gave us a quote, some start dates, and took care of handling all the permits and asbestos checks and everything for us.

He even checked under the sub-floor since we were planning to replace the carpet, and he discovered there was a lot of overspray of the asbestos ceiling texture on the bare subfloor. So we pulled everything up and remediated that as well.

Through the whole project Manny sent me pictures and stayed in touch with the progress, as we had him do all the work before we "moved in" to the house.

It all worked out and we came out the other end without asbestos ceilings/floors in our bedrooms, and while it'd have been nice if there wasn't asbestos in the house at all, given our situation Manny helped us make the best of it.

I checked with a few other Asbestos remediation companies and Altura was also one of the more reasonably priced, so IMO, you can't do better than going with this group on your asbestos remediation project. No complaints!

There is nothing more unnerving than having problems in the place you call home. Terrifying!! As I looked for help with our mold problem, every contractor who came and went left me more and more discouraged. Until Manny from Altura came out. He was very knowledgeable, and even more importantly, he was understanding and compassionate. You could not possibly do better than Altura and Manny and friends!!!! The very best!!

These guys did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them. We are doing a significant renovation and needed drywall and flooring remediated in separate parts of the house. They did a walkthrough with me to discuss the scope of the project and provided a competitive, accurate, and itemized bid. They secured the permit immediately and got us on the schedule right away. The project was completed exactly in the time frame provided.

We needed access to our house during the remediation and they accommodated by carefully sealing off unaffected areas and creating access points for us. The crew was great - professional, polite, and knowledgable. We passed inspection and I was amazed at how clean the house was when they left. The job site was spotless. High marks to Manny, Jimmy, and the crew. Thank you!
