Has Freedom Solar Power abandoned Colorado?

We started our solar project last May however our solar panels were not installed until two months ago. The panels have been sitting idle since then. We've had couple of visits from the roofer & the electrician. It appears they are being called away to higher priority projects. Several weeks ago we heard was they were almost done.

For now, we just wait - and wait. There is no schedule, no meaningful reply to our queries and no end to this project in sight.

We can't even get a date for when we might get a remaining project schedule.

We have heard a rumor that Freedom Solar Power has abandoned the Colorado market.

It certainly feels that way. 🙁

Like many of the other recent reviewers, we are also frustrated and beyond disappointed with Freedom Solar. We started our install process in March 2024, and it is now October 2024, and we have an inoperable system that has failed 2 inspections on multiple points and we are unable to get anyone from Freedom Solar to contact us back despite numerous phone calls and emails to various contacts, from project managers to customer support to Freedom Solar main numbers. Their online customer portal says our system will be operational next year!
The detail of their sales pitch blew everyone else out of the water, and the installation folks were nice, but obviously the install was not up to par, and the communication is entirely nonexistent. We regret not going with a local company. We have invested an immense amount of money into a large residential solar system with Tesla battery that doesn't pass inspection and Freedom Solar has disappeared.

Deserves 0! Worst experience with a company ever. Freedom forever has been refusing to refund a loan they took out in my name for a project that never happened. It has been over 6 months. When I call the bank (mosaic) the bank tells me they are requesting the cancelation and sending me confirmation emails that they have requested the loan canceled by freedom forever but they are refusing. When I talk to freedom forever they say the bank is lying and they're just waiting on the bank to take the money back? The customer service at this company is crazy, they're so rude. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

I am very upset with the work Freedom Solar has done on my parents house. They started work in September and there’s still a trench in their back yard. They are very kind people and are overly patient so I am writing this review for them. They paid a deposit down and have contacted energy consultant Michael Mann multiple times no response. Please reach out to me ASAP so we can figure this out. I’m very upset. I will call again tomorrow.

Disappointed to say the least. I’ll be sure to let everyone I know not to use them. They need to get control over their sales people. Was outrightly lied to by the salesman. Now, a year later, I am still waiting for promises to be fulfilled. I call and although the customer service representative was helpful and knowledgeable she informed me that it’s some other companies responsibility to pay me referrals that conveniently filed for section 11.

I am trusting that the $2,000 that was promised to me will be honored but at this time I don’t see it likely. I chose freedom because, with that $2,000, the scale was barely tipped in their favor over another company.

Kicking myself and letting all my clients know to do their best to avoid this company at all costs. I hope you find this comment before using their services and steer clear.

Excellent experience with Andrew Walker mapping out the process clearly with benchmarks met all the way. The install was professional completed by Freedom Solar trained mechanics and the office staff coordinated all inspections with XCel and the town. I have had the solar panels for 15 months and absolutely appreciate the working relationship I have with the company. There are no problems, I have an easy to use app that I follow and the cost savings over the year have been tremendous.

Words cannot express how unbearable it has been working with Freedom Solar. Despite signing a contract with them ten months ago and paying over 20k, I have no connected system. Our salesperson delayed our project by two months by not including a crucial element of work AND then requested a couple of thousand dollars more. After this delay, we did not hear back for months and calls were not returned. It was only after we called the main office earlier this year, requesting to cancel our contract, that they started to slowly do work. However, we have failed four inspections so far. They improperly grounded the electrical panel. We were also told that we had a Denver City rebate reserved only to be told that wasn't the case. Absolute dysfunction in all regards except that we have found one project manager who has been responsive; however, much is out of their control and we have no timeline for work being completed at this point. I curse the day I signed a contract with Freedom Solar. The endless effort and anguish regarding communication and pricing has taken a great toll.

5 stars now. To say again the whole solar process was seamless and I'm very happy with my set up. The couple things I was disgruntled about have been fully resolved. I would recommend Freedom Solar for your solar project.

Editing review to 4 stars for now. Again the solar installation and the whole process was very seamless and I was very happy with it. Just had some customer service issues that needed to be resolved and they are now working on it.

Really basically I would give them 5 stars because the whole process getting my solar system up and running was seamless and easy. But instead I'm giving 1 star because they were supposed to install a new house electrical panel for me and on the day it was scheduled the electrician was sick....yeah no worries it happens.... but since then I've been waiting over a year to get this done and no one will communicate with me. My house lights are flashing because of my old panel. They also promised me a $500 gift card they have completely ignored when asked about
