They are very busy due to the last hurricane but they did answer by e-mail and set up an appointment. One of their employees came to my house but I was at an impromptu doctors visit but we did communicated by text and he did find and fixed a small leak. So now waiting for warmer weather to test it out. So far so good.

Solar direct installed our pool heating panels on the roof. Their quote was affordable, service timely, and post hurricane when we had a warranty request they were responsive and prompt. Several of my neighbors have asked about my satisfaction with these panels and I am more than happy to send them SolarDirect's info.

A company that claims to be established (1986) for so many years, should work much better than it does. I regret very much having bought their solar panels. Customer service is inefficient, I have calls waiting for more than 50 minutes. No one answers the phone or returns calls. I CAN'T BELIEVE they have 4 stars review when the service is horrible. So funny to see they only answer back the good reviews from people but when this company is going to answer back your unsatisfied customer

Solar direct was friendly, professional and timely. Installed before hurricanes, and had a minor leak (clamp needed to be tightened after the hurricanes came through) and they showed up and repaired the leak without issue. My roofers mentioned that solar direct's installation was both professional and well done and did not create any issues with my brand new roof warrenty.

This company is absolutely unprofessional I would not recommend them to even to my enemies. I sold solar for them and it was a nightmare. My customer waited over 6months to get installed. They actually started charging my customer 2 months before the panels were even installed. To make things worse they refused to pay me my commission claiming financial hardship. They owe me and so many others thousands of dollars. STAY AWAY !!!!

Stay away from this company. Customer service does not work. They do not help with the warranty. I have a solar system that haven't worked for a year and no answers from them.

I have called over 15 times leaving messages due to no answer always; left emails a bunch of times along with texts, and only received one reply with the excuse that they are short staffed. I had my system installed for higher production than I consumed the prior year, with quality REC panels and highest quality Enphase inverters, yet each day my production is much less than my consumption (I monitor my consumption during peak times). I am losing money daily and keep calling Solar direct for customer service due to system failure and poor productivity. Zero stars for customer service. After 10 weeks Solar Direct attitude seems to be “install it, set it and forget it!” At my next home I will use a different Solar installer that my neighbor used. Proceed at your own risk!!!

I have installed 15.3kw solar system which consisted of 45 340w TallMax panels. From the time of the order throughout installation the response was great from SolarDirect. I am a pest of a customer and have lots of questions and request frequent status.
With a Tier 2 system it adds another level of complexity with insurance and agreement with the utility. Was provided a clear timeline and was able to keep in touch throughout the process. I even had to upgrade my main service panel to handle a line side tap.
The installers were great and were not bothered by me being on the roof to ask questions and take progress pictures. This gave me a better understanding on what was being done and how everything tied in. This was even accomplished in one day and tested before they left.
They answered everything and showed me the inverters and tied to main service panel. Since the agreement was in place prior to installation I only had to wait a couple business days for the utility to install my meter.
When the system turned on one of the inverters crashed after about 50 minutes. Their service team took care of getting a replacement shipped and installed quickly.
System has been performing really well and glad j took the plunge into solar.
