NOT RECOMMENDED. This company is so disorganized, the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I attempted to order some IT equipment last November, and they couldn't even find my order after it was created. So I ordered elsewhere. 2 months later at the end of January, the items I had tried to order were suddenly on their way to my door and they charged my credit card. Now I'm just hoping I can successfully get the charges disputed. I do not recommend doing business with this company.

Sounds like a good place to work but they have terrible customer service and make way too many mistakes throughout the whole process. During the initial account sign up things got messed up and were eventually (a month or so later corrected) and whenever I inquire about any product the ball ALWAYS gets dropped with zero follow through including my latest inquiry about acquiring licenses for my company for Samsung Knox. Go figure, nearly a month later and zero follow up to my questions. I guess my company isn't a large enough customer for them to care.

Well trained employees, I would recommend. They have their own Tech center for HPE, Cisco, and others. Unbelievable collaboration rooms for clients and OEMs to work together on projects. Needless to say, they have all the current technology that the employees can learn from.

I was hired by TechData through Kelly services; for the IBM team. I had issues with both the "recruiter" and the management (or lack there of). I understood that the position was temp with the possibility of becoming permanent. After being with the company for only about a week beyond my 30 days, i was let go. The only way i found this out was when i was enroute to Clearwater (i live in Tampa) on a Monday morning. It was Kelly services responsibility to notify me of this and it "slipped their mind". I have worked for other divisions of Kelly services in another states and never experienced such a level of unprofessional behavior. After your brought on they provide zero assistance with development and have a very cavalier attitude when you ask for further assistance. As of the 2nd week at Tech Data i began to notice their discriminatory and dismissive practices; i am an African American woman.

In reference to the management, she didnt manage nor did she even know what my job entailed. But perhaps this company just slaps a title on anyones name; no knowledge of their employees duties being a requirement. My team for the most part was quite helpful but management only stepped in when coaching items needed to be addressed. This evaluation was comprised of feedback she received, primarily from one bias teammate. This whom several others on the team voiced (on several different occasions) negative opinions about in those short few weeks. I even had another manager (who i took the initiative to meet with for company insight) tell me that the team "needed some positivity". Quite a long review but i thought being detailed would assist and allow the "buyer to beware". Tech Data is not minority friendly. Perhaps had i joined another team my experience would have been different.

Good working environment, contractors assignments are poorly managed, contract extensions are kept as suspense till the last day.In few scenarios contractors were told to wait for 1-2 months till budget approval.Management should know that contractors- highly skilled too contribute to company's success customers satisfaction and they should be treated well as Full time employees.
