I purchased solar system with Momentum recently. The experience was positive. From sales to installation the company was top notch. Communication was clear and effective. Installers were professional and the process moved fairly quickly.
I have had experience with two other companies for solar and would like to recommend Momentum as they were solid. One of the companies I previously contracted with simply vanished right before installation. I believe they ended up being bankrupt. Please do your research before contracting with any other company. In our own research, Momentum was the best company we worked with.

Poor service. We had a destroyed solar panel from hurricane Milton. We called and paid for 1 replacement panel. 800.00. So far, after many calls and up to a 2 month wait, we still have no replacement panel. Today they were supposed to come out and install. This was the second time we had an appointment for them to come and install. They didn’t show up. They didn’t call. We called. Again. And they say they have to order another panel. They said that a month ago. We’ve had no service. Nothing.

Technical solution might work, too soon to tell. But I have had at least 10 points of contact that tell me 10 different things about what the system can do, what is allowed, what their management company permits. Nothing has been consistent. They are masterful at having reassuring phone calls and then providing zero follow through. Don't sign, don't let them in the door. They are not interested in what works for you, they just want to sell you a system.

So far my experience has been great! Sales representative was excellent and the information provided to start the process was easy to understand. The communication with customer service was pleasant and panel installation was a quick process. The placement of panels installed looks just like the blue prints shown which makes the house look modern and sleek. The installer supervisor went over the information before and after install showing respect to my property and provided a clear understanding of the process of the install. He provided pictures from his phone and with a drone for a clear view after the installation. So for my experience with Momentum Solar is been great and exciting. I have an appointment for inspection on Sep 19, 2023 and I'm waiting on the result to turn on the solar panel. So I can submit another update after.

We do not even have solar panels with this company nor would we ever. Today alone 2 sales guys came to our house. We had to answer via our doorbell camera as we were on meetings or occupied with our infant. The first guy literally told us “this house will go solar with or without you” then proceeded to raise his middle finger while telling us “thanks for the attitude” after we told him we were not interested or able to come to the door. The second guy arrived at 7:30pm while we were putting our child to bed. At least this one didn’t have an attitude and just left after we told him we were not interested, but the fact that he came so late in the evening is wild. Never would I use this company based on this alone.

They will never stop spamming your phone with calls. Even after you have solar panels. They are relentless. I like to set up fake appointments and no show or let them show up and let them see I already have panels. Do whatever you can to waste their time. They will never stop calling you no matter what you do.

So far, so good. Work was done in a timely manner, even prior to set dates. Inspection went well, all was approved. Phone staff and sales representatives were all most helpful. Now it is in process of the next step, which will be the meter swap. Once system is up and running I can hopefully give a better response to how the complete process went.

Our salesman Eric was thorough and knowledgeable. He was very patient answering all of our questions and concerns. Panel installers did an excellent job. Meeting my expectations so far.
