Advance installed pool solar panels after Hurricane Charlie with the 12 year warranty. After 11 years there was a leak in a panel. Advanced fixed it for free. Great service! After hurricane Ian advance installed new panels with the 12 year warranty. 18 months later a leak occurred in a panel. They will only come out with a credit card and 200 dollar service charge plus 3% credit card fee. Called them again for what looked like another leak. Another 200 dollar service call. Do not deal with this company as they do not back up their product unless you pay again and again. This is not the same company I dealt with in 2005.

Brian is a PRO and he guided us through the whole selection process, offering good advice and making sure we understood all aspects of the purchase. I received a call from Advanced Solar about my issue. The credit card policy was changed due to issues with payments after all the storms so I feel better knowing it wasn't personal. My issue was handled satisfactorily and I appreciate this company taking my concerns seriously and following up to resolve. I also feel more comfortable as to why they have a history of positive reviews.

After Ian had a good experience withe Advance Solar repairing a leak. Had to pay $200 just for them to come out but they fixed the problem for $260 total. Had another leak last week and they scheduled someone to come check. The 130 pm appointment turned into a call at 430 p from tech. As it was windy and closing in on dark I told tech it was probably prudent to reschedule. The next day a tech showed up, hours after scheduled time, to repair. Said he fixed three leaks and paid $253. Next morning system still leaking. I called and was told i would have to pay $200 for them to show up again. I was told they wouldn't charge if it previous work that failed. How am I supposed to know if it was previous work? Shouldn't the tech have checked he got all leaks the day before when he was here? How can i be sure it will be fixed this time. Was called back today to tell me we are scheduled for tomorrow and wanted a credit card. I was never asked for card before for the last two visits and paid with check to tech upon completion. After questioning unhappily, yesterday, about the charges all of a sudden a card is required? I don't mind giving a card but was concerned it was all of a sudden needed. I need leak fixed so i will suck it up but i would stress caution regarding the customer service skills of these folks.
