I was looking for a Kalmbach Feed dealer in the area. I found McFarlin Feed and visited their store. It's a quaint, old time Feed Store feel. The staff was very friendly and their tiny rooster Rambo was so cute and friendly too. They have a big variety and all your farm and pet needs. I purchased Kalmbach Henhouse Reserve for my chickens. Definitely recommend to visit.

this is my favorite feed supply store in citrus county they got everything you need from dewormer for your horses to Barbwire to organic fox farm fertilizers. Every time I come here these people are great they’re really nice and easy to get in and out with everything you need. Highly recommended

The owners of McFarland are honest people, their business is support the locals and their business. Maybe a little higher in cost but always fresh rotated bags of feed for horses,dogs,chickens,goats, pigs,cats. All you need and more for any supply's you would need for your farm or ranch. I've been with them for at least 7 yrs now.

They advertise Kalmbach, but didn't have any chicken feed in that brand. When I requested a non-medicated feed, I got a lecture about how I shouldn't be feeding my chickens non-medicated food. They are silkies and a vet recommended against it. All in all, it's a cute mom and pop shop and we will continue supporting them, but the workers' opinions and the lack of customer minded service could be better for sure. I loved the little rooster though and the prices were overall really reasonable.
