I finally got the issue with making the payments figured out. 💃 We all know you turn your phone on the side in order to see a larger section of the page. You have to turn on the side in order for the script to work properly on the page.
Just in case nobody explains that to you and you need to know. I didn't run a diagnostics, I am only assuming that the HTML on the page when your phone is upright interferes with the security on the page.
So in order to fill out the form and get the page to work your phone has to be on its side.
Yep I figured that out by accident. What I didn't try was switching the mobile to desktop view that might also work.
Because their website seems to integrated with Leon county government site that may be the reason why. They could have extra security on there.
Now that I can get into my account I will integrate it with my calendar and home screen.
So I'm doing the happy dance.
They're pretty lenient though it took me eight days after the bill was due to figure this out this month. And they were still picking up my trash.
Except for during the flu when I can barely walk outside.
As far as the physical service it is still the best in town. I don't do automatic payments with anyone. Well they're kind of automatic I automatically go in and pay them. 😁
I think they changed their trucks because there was a wastepro truck out there today and I put a can full of cardboard boxes out there. I have a project going.
So anyway now that I have the web account working perfectly and everything else they're working perfectly I am perfectly happy.
I just like calling customer service, I get paid to talk on the phone so when I'm done that is the last thing I want to do.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company due to ongoing issues with reliability and pricing. They frequently miss scheduled pick-up days, and when contacted, they offer little more than an excuse—either stating they were too busy or that they’ll pick it up on the next scheduled day—without providing any financial compensation despite customers paying for the service. Additionally, they often fail to fully empty trash cans, leaving customers with incomplete service.

Another concerning issue is their pricing practices. At the start of each quarter, customers agree to a set rate, yet the next bill may include unexpected increases due to retroactive market adjustments applied to the previous quarter, even though it has already been paid. This pattern of continuous price hikes makes it difficult to trust their pricing structure.

Overall, this company appears more focused on maximizing charges while providing the bare minimum in service. There is little commitment to excellence, value, or customer satisfaction.

We've been customers of JD Parker and Sons for over 30 years and have been very satisfied with our service however....
We believe if someone does an excellent job they need to be noticed for it.
The crew that services our route has gone above and beyond.
My wife is bound to a wheelchair and one day she saw the trash being dumped went to retrieve the cans and the crew saw her coming and brought the cans up to the front door for her. (Our house is 50 ft from the road)
They have been bringing the cans up to the front door ever since and this has been for probably at least 2 months. This Crew is to be commended and I have also contacted their superiors to let them know.

This company will tell you they're going to pick up your trash, and apparently never relay to the drivers that they should actually pick up your trash.

I had my service "cancelled" for no reason, and when I called to inquire about why my trash wasn't getting picked up they said they'd start again and it was an error. They still haven't been back to get my trash even though that conversation was a week ago.

I have a zero balance second time this week not picked up got a message after I called and was told to pay the next 3 months in advance to have trashed picked up please explain here we go again second week again my garbage is not picked up today. Zero balance count is active. Nobody returns my emails or my phone calls but my garbage is sitting at the road all last week. I had to call and email then they sent someone late in the day I called today it’s December 10 again nobody returned my calls or my emails and as you can see, I have an active account with a zero balance.

New to the area, and set up JDP as my residential trash pickup. I was given the schedule of Tuesday and Friday, but because I moved in Thanksgiving week, I was told Friday pickup moves to Saturday. Saturday came and went, with no pickup and I was unable to leave a message at the office, due to it being a holiday. I'm new, it's a holiday, I can understand that.

Monday arrives, and the phone lines were "busy". After a couple of hours, I was able to leave a message. I was called back after 5pm with an agent saying "your pickup is tomorrow". I said I know, but they missed my Saturday pickup. The agent was apologetic and assured me I would have pickup the next day.

Tuesday arrives, no pickup, and around lunchtime I saw a JDP truck drive past my home. I called, but the voicemail box was full and I couldn't leave a message. I called back every hour, and at 2:30 I was able to leave a message. At 3:15, my trash was picked up. 4:45 I get a call from the office responding to my voicemail, and I told the representative that my trash was picked up. She said I was on rotation, because she was just now getting to the voicemails. Purely coincidence, and everything should be fine for Friday. I asked if there are was a time I should call should my trash not be picked up on Friday, and was again assured I didn't need to worry, I was on the schedule.

It's Friday 21:30. Trash was not picked up, and office is closed. I've paid 3 months in advance for pickup twice a week, and I'm here as a new homeowner, only have had my trash picked up once out of the 3 pickups I've paid for.

I don't see how this is acceptable, and have requested a refund for the services I have yet to receive.

I would like to commend JD Parker and Sons on the outstanding service they have provided before and after the Hurricane. They are always proactive in providing information to the public and keeping everyone well informed. They have been working extremely hard to service the community after the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene leaving trash and debris in the wake of the storm that will take months to recover from. Thank you JD Parker and Son’s for your concern and compassion for the community.
