I purchased a Scaleblaster SB-30, a water conditioning system, three years ago through Costco. I ordered it on 6/30/21 and installed on 7/3/21. In the beginning of Sep 24 I noticed my unit was not functioning, absence of indicating lights. I called Clearwater Enviro Tech and they told me the unit warranty expired 3 months ago. So I chuck it off as bad luck. At the end of Sep 24, I removed the non-functioning SB-30 and noticed water was sloshing inside the unit. So I decided to open up the unit and see what goes on inside. Sure enough, water is about ½ way inside the unit. So I called CET again and expressed my thoughts that the unit probably has not been working for over 6 months judging by the rust stain and the corrosion on two output terminals. The warranty guy Jeff even sent me a RMA request with specifically asked for pictures of my installation location. Then Jeff called and changed his mind of not offering RMA claiming he misunderstood all the facts I told him. I even offered Jeff the defective unit so that they can examine the O ring in the case. He refused. My engineering opinion is that the O ring was designed incorrectly because there was no evidence of compression! Having a water intrusion issue with an outdoor unit is problematic and not want to see the evidence and have a lesson learned and potentially improving their product is worst.

I would highly recommend Clearwater Pool System. We live in Vegas and have very hard water that has always irritated our skin. Since we have started using it, the kids that are sensitive to the shower water here have been irritant free. It’s like bottled water and no more heavy chemical use.

I just want to say that my pool has never been sparkling clear as it is now, since I installed the clearwater products. RC50, OZ50.
I also enjoy the benefit of a huge reduction in the use of harmful chemicals

I have had great success with my Clearwater Pool System RC-50 and OZ-50 combination! I live in Arizona and was told by several pool professionals that this system would not work in the Arizona heat. They were wrong!
With the outstanding help of Jeff and Ryan at Clearwater Pool Systems, I have been able to maintain a very clean and clear pool that my family loves to swim in.

We originally purchased the ScaleBlaster for our house almost 8 years ago and have been very happy with it. We have dark bronze fixtures and still no scale build up yet. The scale just doesn't stick and flows on by.
So 6 years ago we invested in the RC-50 Copper Ion and ScaleBlaster combo unit for our pool and have been completely satisfied with that purchase too. The days of scraping the scale off the tile work are gone, goodbye to "ring-around the pool". 6 years later and still no scale. We also used to fight algae in the summer with a constant barrage of harsh chemicals but the RC-50 does a great job keeping the algae away with little effort. So happy to have had the unit during COVID when chlorine was scarce and priced through the roof. The group at Clearwater were also very helpful this Fall when it seemed like our unit wasn't working properly. They were very responsive in diagnosing the issue and turns out is was just a wire from the RC-50 to the electrode that was failing, I'm thinking our dog may have tugged on it and compromised the connection. We're looking for many more years of doing business with Clearwater Enviro.

I replaced my saltwater system with the OZ 50 and the RC50 combination. The water has never been clearer and my maintenance costs are way down, especially in chemicals. It really is a fantastic way to go chlorine and salt-free. The company has been fantastic with every question that I have along the way and helpful with any problem that arises. I can't recommend this system enough for your pool!

For 5 years I have been battling pH in my salt water "plunge pool". (hate that term plunge pool) The pool is on our back porch in SC, is gunite construction, salt water 2000 gal, heated and stays open 24/7. Aside from constantly adding muriatic acid almost weekly because of the high pH, I also developed scale.

Recently I Googled systems to monitor pH and Clearwater Envrio Technologies popped up so I made the call and Ryan Duksa answered the phone. The rest is history. Ryan described the PH-50, assured me that it was an easy system to install and I ordered it. The unit was delivered within a week. I installed the PH-50 a little over two weeks ago. Called Ryan and had him walk me through the settings. After a two day trial I called Ryan again, gave him my readings and he tweaked the co2 setting (actually I tweaked the setting Ryan was just the instructor). Within 0ne (1) day my pH was "ideal" my chlorine level "ideal" and all I do now is enjoy my pool. ThePH-50 is not only state of the art, it is extremely well designed and Ryan was correct, very easy to install, not to mention Ryan knows the system and is a great instructor.

Purchased one of their electronic water softening units.

The first one died within a few months. The little light stopped flashing. Didn't notice any particular improvement in scale removal. The shower stall still needed regular acid cleaning and the kettles and coffee makers as well. Contacted them and was told it was a known problem with a chip.They had me send it to them, thry supposedly repaired it and sent it back to me. The little light flashed again.

Still no improvement. My wife was getting mad at me by this point so we started using our regular salt softener again with it. At least we weren't itchy anymore.

Contacted Home Depot who we bought it thru Home depot and they wouldnt accept a return on it as it was now a warranty issue. Thanks Home Depot.

The little light then died again. Was told by Clearwater that there was nothing they could do as the 3 year warranty advertised on the Home Depot website supposedly needed to be upgraded at an extra charge within the first few months.

Extremely disappointed in this product and this company as the product did not work as advertised and they used what I feel were deceptive practices re: the warranty. They were very rude on the phone as well. Avoid.
