Overall, I think it's a pretty easy and convenient facility to use. It sucks that a few months ago, it went from two visits a day to one visitor day allowed for residents. Some of the employees have a serious attitude problem. I just laugh it off because I think it's funny when garbage men yell at me. But my wife takes offense to it. So, in the future, please don't yell at my pregnant wife again. She just doesn't have the vast experience in garbage dumping you do.

We have used this transfer station for 6 years and we love this place. They will take almost anything. I just dropped off some construction debris from a remodeling project and I have dropped off at least 20 loads of branches and brush in the last 6 years.

The guy at the entrance asks for your address to make sure you live in Hernando county and what you have and directs you to the area for your drop off. No charge for any of this. What a deal and the workers are actually nice folks.

I needed to get rid of a beat up old office chair, my cats scratched to pieces. I got the new office chair and I took the old one to dump it here. They were very nice and professional and courteous. I’m glad we have this service in Springhill Florida.

This is the dumbest run station. Constantly changing rules and if you take a single bag of trash and then try to bring a TV box later the same day they turn you away cause the new "1 visit per day" rule but they will take a whole 5x10 trailer stacked with garbage while they watch you turn around... Can't bring a 5x10 uhaul even if its only got a few boxes or bags of trash but you can have a walled up 5x10 trailer overflowing. On month you can bring yard waste and then the next youre not allowed at all and then the next month it's only yard waste under 8 inches.
The facility is easy to use and has an easy layout but it's a pain in the butt to keep up with the rules constantly changing and know if you're even allowed to use the facility on any given day. Good luck ever getting someone to answer the phone as well, spent 30 mins calling just to drive down and get turned away anyway.
