Urban Sushi and Thai on Hallandale Beach Boulevard is by far our favorite spot for sushi and Thai cuisine! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is consistently outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

A huge part of what makes this place special is Surin, the manager. He knows our names, our orders, and always makes us feel like family. That level of personal attention is rare and makes every visit feel like a treat. When Surin isn’t around, Melanie is just as amazing, ensuring we’re well taken care of.

The kitchen team, Jonathan and Ronaldo, work magic with their sushi and dishes – everything we’ve tried has been delicious. We dine here almost every night when we’re not at home or a fancy restaurant, and it never disappoints.

One of the highlights was when Surin graciously allowed us to bring our own desserts to celebrate New Year’s and the last night of Hanukkah. It’s those little touches that keep us coming back.

If you’re in the Hallandale Beach area and love sushi or Thai food, Urban Sushi and Thai is a must-visit. Thank you to Surin, Melanie, Jonathan, and Ronaldo for always making our experiences unforgettable!

I've been coming to this sushi restaurant at least once a week, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently fresh, from the sashimi to the specialty rolls, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. The service is excellent as well. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and incredibly fast, ensuring that I have a great dining experience each time. Whether you're stopping by for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner, you can count on them to deliver with efficiency and a smile. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this urban Sushi and Thai restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The food here is simply amazing, with standout dishes that left a lasting impression.

The tuna salad was absolutely delicious, a perfect blend of fresh ingredients and flavorful dressing. However, the real star of the menu for me was the Bag of Gold. This dish is an absolute must-try and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the restaurant.

The sushi rolls were also top-notch. I tried the Robio roll, and it was phenomenal. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the cold, fresh fish was of the highest quality.

Overall, this restaurant offers an outstanding dining experience with its incredible food and unique dishes. I can't recommend it enough

My experience overall was very good, servers were great, food amazing and very good portions, I also had a very positive impression about the restroom. The only negative side was paying, since the waitress showed us our check, everything was correct but when she charged she ended up charging our friends check on our card. Once noticed, we paid ours and still the system was telling that nothing was paid, even though we had the restaurant receipt and the bank app notification. The thing was taking a long time and manager ended up taking my husband's phone number in case the transaction was declined since we did not agree to charge the card a third time. Overall, it was a positive experience and I would come back, I just don’t give 5 stars for the payment method.
