Horrible Storm Response. Commercial customers with 1x a week pickup are just screwed if their pickup falls on a holiday or a storm day. No effort at all to accommodate, and then with the trash overflowing after Helene ignored our pickup day because of Milton and I bet they will try to charge an "overfull" charge when they finally get around to picking it up. I shouldn't have to pay someone else to take our regular trash not even storm debris when we already pay for trash service. Do better!

Worst company EVER!!!! They have been my trash services for probably 4-5 years, I have called multiple times over my time as a customer because they haven’t picked up my trash. Just a couple weeks ago they didn’t pick up my trash, so I called for 2 days I was told someone was coming back out to pick up my trash and no one ever came. Meanwhile, I’m a paying customer, no money is due nothing!!! Then when they come to pick up my trash I am allowed 1 blue trash can and 1 additional trash can they and refused to pick up the second trash can or if there is a separate bag of trash around the can that wouldn’t find inside the can they wouldn’t take. The guy to me waved bye bye as he backed up when I questioned why they didn’t take my stuff today. This is the most unprofessional trash company I have ever dealt with, we pay you to pick up trash DO YOUR JOB! You don’t like your job or the business your in the get out and give it to someone that will treat people right. This probably comes at no surprise to the people running the company due to the the reviews they have. I have cancelled my service, I suggest others do the same.

In the last few months, they didn't pick up my can when there was no other cans or bags at the road, just the can! Called the office and was told I they would pick up the next day which never happened! These guys have decided to make their own rules....you can put 2 black bags of leaves out with 1 can and they don't take the bags...this has happened about 4 times in the past couple months! I can understand around the hurricane, but not currently....these guys used to be real good and take all our crap, now they will only take the can (if you're lucky) and no bags....what the heck happened Did they not get the memo that they're supposed to take the bags! So fed up!

I had Waste Connections trash service for over 15 years and the same driver/crew for just about the entire time as well. I always gave a generous tip to the crew during the Christmas and Summer seasons and service was good. Then my bill started being raised and I had added fees that were sporadic and not consistent. Good luck trying to call these people and getting someone to answer or return a phone call, customer service was horrible. Fast forward to earlier this year when I received a bill that was considerably higher than normal. Now, to be fair, I understand that the cost of doing business has risen lately, due to inflation and other factors, I get it, but when there are several other companies charging 1/3 the cost, it got my attention. I called customer service and actually spoke with someone and let me tell you, she could’ve cared less. The interaction was so horrible I closed my account on the spot, she didn’t try to retain me as a customer, offer a discount, nothing! I guess they don’t need my business so I decided to go elsewhere and am now paying 1/3 what I was paying with Waste Connections. Once I made the switch, 4 of my neighbors did too. The comical part in all this, was about 3 months later I received a letter in the mail from them offering to match my current rate if I switched back, lol. If they did that from the beginning, I’d still be their customer. I feel bad for the guys on the truck, management is screwing them!

I have had waste connections for over 10 years with no complaints. The drivers are diligent and seem to care about service. They are so kind that they move my large tote from the street up my driveway because they know how difficult it is for me to wrangle the bin myself. I just called customer service and got a delightful person, Brittany, who helped me lower my monthly rate. She was so caring and understanding. Others in my neighborhood are switching to new seemingly cheaper companies but I am staying with the professionals. Now I am getting the better service at less cost than they pay for less service.

Still waiting on my cans. Started service on Monday at the home I just bought two weeks ago. Customer service was good up until they got my money. I was told I'd receive my cans on that Friday. Friday comes and goes. No cans. I emailed them on Monday. I was told my cans would get delivered between 5-10 business days, but I was also told that they would check to see when my cans would get delivered. Crickets since then. We are at business day 9. No cans. So, I get to go 2 full weeks with no trash cans and garbage sitting in my garage between pickup days in the heat of summer? Seriously? This isn't a good start to the service. I don't care that my HOA has a service set up with them. I think I'm going to check elsewhere. I might get my cans from someone else before I ever receive the ones I've paid for from these guys.

EDIT (7/16): Finally received my cans after 11 business days, 4 calls, 3 e-mails, and a negative Google review. Makes me wonder if I hadn't have done all that, would I still be waiting? And if this was only the first two weeks of service, what else is in the pipeline of having to deal with from them?

I called for support help. Brittany took the call and was extremely pleasant. She was going to help me get the collection truck back out here for me (I missed them.). While on the phone they drove up. Later I called again for larger debris pickup. I got Brittany again and she gave me all the info I needed and was ready to set up an extra pickup. Thank you Brittany!
