I would like to commend the customer service and support of Marc Doheny. I am new to solar and wind power and after much research and many discussions with other cruisers I had decided on the Rutland 1200 Wind Generator, but I still had some questions about it. I first sent a query to the manufacturer however I never got any response. I then sent the questions to several vendors who sell the Rutland 1200 and quickly got a very informative response from Marc. He not only answered the questions that I had submitted but also took the time to ask me specifics regarding my intended installation and together we designed a much better and safer system than I had originally intended. Marc's extensive knowledge and professionalism made a great impression on me and his assistance and insistence to make sure I had the proper design and parts are greatly appreciated and speak well for eMarine System. Marc is also the reason that I placed my entire order with eMarine Systems, even though I could have gotten some of the parts cheaper elsewhere, and the reason that when discussing power systems with fellow cruisers I will not hesitate to point them to eMarine Systems.

I have to give them one star based on poor customer service. I contacted them back in December about scheduling for a Victron issue we were having. They did call me back and said they would need to figure out the timing (due to the holidays). They never called me back with timing, so i called them and left a message. Because their voice mail recommends emailing issues I also set a detailed email. Never heard back on either. Happy to go to another business which has been very responsive.

E Marine Systems was excellent. I originally got some custom wiring from them to install in my converted Sprinter van. They were quick and have very reasonable pricing. After I installed the wiring myself, I realized that I had a bigger problem and came back to them the next day. Not only did they let me walk in without an appointment, they helped me with some much larger wiring issues that would have caused me major problems down the road. They are extremely knowledgeable, kind, and flexible. If I lived in the area, I would definitely come back to them again and again.

My experience in purchasing my fairly large solar upgrade from eMarine has been exceptional. In the design phase Marc in technical support was outstanding – he answered all my many questions and developed a schematic for my installation, which was extremely helpful. My order was delivered complete and on time – pricing was excellent. I had an issue with a major (and costly) item that was delivered and Patrice in customer service responded immediately and resolved the problem quickly without any of the usual hassle and nitpicking that I have experienced elsewhere. All in all it was a great experience – highly recommended.
