Prices low... Plastic tubs apparently weigh 5lbs here? (gravity must be different). Scale Wasnt even used on 2 items. Guy just looked at it and said "looks like 6lbs". Save your time go to big iron recycling.

Never go here to sell scrap .... my copper tubing and bare Brite copper he gave me$1.90 per lbs called it #Two wire.i also had approx.80 pounds of aluminum siding he weighs it out to 50pounds .I weigh my scrap my self and know my metals.. feeling a little unhappy about this one so just be careful here..me my self will stick to aa auto n recycling. There just not open on Sat. So I went here...booo

Very friendly and straightforward guy who I believe is the owner, but the women who works the office wasn’t so kind, I was only wanting to recycle a load of several different clean metals that I didn’t want any money for and she was rude with me the entire time.
Reason for not being 5 stars is the encounter with her other than that I’d say the guy runs a great metal recycling facility!

This is one of the few remaining metal scrap yards in the area and highly recommended. Just remember, Scrap prices are a commodity and they are traded on the stock market. Therefore prices are constantly changing. Today's price is not tomorrow's price.

Probably the worst recycling experience that I remember...staff was rude and not considerate of veterans or Americans with disabilities. Very confrontational when I told them I needed to stand because of recent surgeries. I'll make the short trip to Ft Walton the next time.

Do not go there he will RIP you off I took 72 pounds of cans and 20 cents a pound. Go to cost metial you will get 35 cents a pound.stay a way from Freeport. They are very rude people.
