i tried to buy a wooden table with 4 chairs they had it priced at 225$ almost 300$ the table needs to be sanded and repainted the price doesn’t reflect the condition of the table they said it just came in i said i was willing to pay 125$ then i also saw a couch i need this furniture for my apartment we just moved oct 1st me and my 6 year old son fyi just to give some background info. i am a single mother also i saw a couch and it is priced at 595$ almost 600$ i asked to reduce the price to 150$ Mind you the couch is used and was dontated fir free !! that’s the key words free to 595$ almost 600$ when i picked up the cushions i saw animal hair throughout the couch i am allergic to cats and sometimes dog hair so id have to get the couch cleaned before using it myself. I came to the restore to get gentle used items at a reasonable price being a single parent and just getting a place for me and my son but i notice that they are overpriced And they aren’t even trying to get items sold or even in anyway in and out of the store. why is it that they don’t work with you and why is it a no i won’t do that i had to reach out to the district manager of the store about these items cause it’s a huge shame at a resale store i can’t even get a deal on used items they are priced at brand new item prices 600$ is a brand new couch at and furniture store and 300$ is a brand new table price. what’s really going on with the prices at these stores?!
mind you some of this stuff is donated to them for FREE and they are overpricing the items this is very displeasing to see first hand being a mom just trying to get this for her home with having to hear no the prices is the price i won’t work with me i’m willing to give 300$ cash for both items

Fantastic selection ad great prices for furniture, picture frames, kitchen goods, and sundries for yard/DIY work. Close to Delray/Boynton Beach area, there are two kinds of thrift stores: those with lots of clothes, and those with lots of stuff. This is one of the best "stuff" thrift stores. Good sized parking lot, large building, and rapidly revolving inventory.

This store used to be a "must stop" while shopping for hidden treasures. Prices are unbelievably high - more expensive than going to an antique store. Add insult to injury pricing things that are damaged like they are undamaged. It is important to their mission to get donations and move them through. Having all the merch sit due to their price structure helps no one. It's a shame.

Dawn helped me to arrange a pick up for my office furniture. She was so kind, professional and organized. Patrick and Wilson came to pick the furniture up and they were wonderful! They were so resourceful in getting the pieces out, quickly and carefully. These folks are assets. I have 11 pieces of office furniture to go next and I will once again call HABITAT, hope that I get to arrange it with Dawn and see Patrick and Wilson again. Thank you from Carol in Boynton Beach!

I don’t know what’s going on to habitat retail store in Delray Beach. I volunteer for habitat I did Women’s built, raised Roof, breaking ground. I mean, habitat taught me a lot. There’s a lot of DIY I did in my own home because of habitat.

This is sad zero stars for me!
On 4/22/2024 I went to the habitat retail store in Delray Beach on Federal Highway. I saw some kitchen cabinet and I asked the manager for the price of them. She told me one base cost $300. Another base cost $250. I said that’s the price of it new inside the store aren’t you guys retail? She told me that the guy that took it out of the homes
that’s the price he wants for them and they’re selling it for him And he doesn’t want anything lower the price is firm. So I’m like they wasn’t donated you’re selling it for another person. I didn’t know. Have a dad does that.
I saw some tiles in the tiles that I was looking at. It’s the same tile that I had in my house where I bought from floordecor back in 2020 so I asked her how much is these box She went on her phone. I guess she was trying to google then she told me they’re $40 a box👀. I don’t remember paying that much when I bought them back in floordecor. So I went on floor decor website I put the SKU number that I saw on the box in floordecor was selling it for $12.60 per box $.89 per square foot. I tried showing her on my phone how much they’re selling it at floordecor. The manager of basically push me away and said there’s nothing she can do. That’s the price the manager put on the box and she can’t do nothing about it. And she’s the one that that priced it right in front of me, I asked to speak to the manager. She told me the manager is on vacation. They’ll be back Thursday. I asked another employee in there. Do they know the managers name they redirect me back to her she’s the manager so basically she lied. 🤥 then she went into her office to avoid me because I couldn’t understand why she priced the tile like that. The lady was so rude. Everything in that store was overpriced. Nothing in there is new and I thought things was being donated Why things are overpriced. Employees in there telling me that things are not even selling and after a while it’s been sitting there. They have to throw them away so habit that he is not even making These items because they’re just sitting there and I know habitat have the retail store so that way they can make money so they can build more houses. I’m gonna add pictures below and I’m also going to put the picture of the lady that told me the tiles was $40 per box🤦🏽‍♀️

They wouldn’t take my good used designer furniture after arranging to pick it up. But they have far worse furniture at their store. The driver was almost “proud” to say he wouldn’t take the furniture….This store’s policies and attitudes have really changed…I would think twice about donating anything to them at all.

Was given a card that indicated the store was open until 6pm on Saturday and 11 to 5 on Sunday, neither is true, wasted to trips in friends pickup to retrieve a piece of furniture. Please do not hand out cards that have the wrong hours on them...very not happy....

ATTENTION TO DONATORS/CUSTOMERS:
Upon dropping off a few donations in the evening, after work, to my surprise I ran into a chain link stretching across the entrance.
Bumper and both headlights are damaged.
My Attorney will be in contact with corporate, submitting the invoice to this location. And I guess I’ll take my donations to GOODWILL where I didn’t crash into any chains stretched across the entrance.
