I live in a home built by Olthof. So naturally, anything that isn't mandatory by law, it is not done, from toilet paper holders to radon mitigation. I've heard about the dangers of radon and I bought a tester off amazon. Upstairs in the babies' room on the 2nd floor read a 2 which is right at the limit of "safe" and in the basement it was near 8 which is double the "get it fixed asap" level. I asked around my neighborhood and a few people got it done and Randall came very highly recommended. He said he would show up from 7:45-8:00 and showed up at exactly 7:45. Everything he did was professional, clean, in and out in 3 hours. Price was very reasonable compared to DIY solutions I considered. 5 year warranty and guaranteed levels is well worth the peace of mind. Highly recommend Randall! Highly not recommend Olthof!

Randall is a Godsend. I spoke with him about radon mitigation, but suckered by the reviews, went with NWI Radon and Environmental even tho they cost hundreds more. From the second their system went in, vibrations were a major issue. My front room and especially bedroom hummed very loudly at night from pipe vibrations. I asked NWI Radon for help and their response "Well, do you sleep in that room? I don't know what else you want us to do".

I'll tell you what I did. I contacted Randall at A Plus Radon solutions. He asked "Do you want me to fix it?" And fix it he did. He replaced their crappy Maverick fan with a Radonway p45 that is whisper quiet and vibration free. Also, even tho we didn't discuss it, he was also kind enough to re position the clamps holding the pipe to the wall so that they were more appropriately placed. He also straightened the crooked pipe NWI Radon left!
I can’t believe how silently the entire system runs now thanks to him.

I should have used A Plus Radon solutions from the start. I would have saved significant money, and the job would have been done correctly the first time. Other companies use fake reviews from family or friends, and nothing beats good old fashioned experience and know how. In the future, if i wish to reposition the system, need repairs, or even just friendly advice, I'll use A Plus Radon Solutions. Thanks, Randall!
