This company is incompetent. Something always wrong with their system. They will charge the wrong amount and you are trying to dispute it they don’t even know why they charge this outrageous fees. Four years ago, I received a bill about $700 from them and I never missed a payment calling them for an explanation they claim they didn’t charge me correctly asking them for what I should been charged in the first place but to no avail that was in 2020. This year in many occasions they have sent wrong alert and bills which were rescinded, but in January I received a $941 bill which I have no explanation for but they claimed they were unable to reach my meter, but I received a different bill every month which fluctuates by $5 to 10 every month and I never missed a payment. I want them to show me where these charges are coming from, so I can understand. The average of a monthly water and sewer bill in my community is between $25 and $50 for a larger family. I have been charged $25 for a few months after I purchased my property but ever since I was overcharged my bills been different and I have been paying between $40-57 and sometimes $80 a month for me and my daughter. I am not sure where these people incompetency is coming from, but something had to give because I can’t pay a $1000 every time their system is broken. Please stay away from them if you can at all costs. They are a nightmare!

There is a convenience fee for paying automated over the phone. When Automated payment did not work and I asked to speak to a representative call dropped again and again. Tried to register an online profile but the system does not operate and will not let me sign in.

So they have been doing work for Duke energy around my house and have left all their trash around and even in my back yard. These are grown adults and I have to clean up after them like children. I wish I could say it was just my house but I decided to walk down the street and to my surprise they have left their extra scraps all in the road and in yards. I will be sending all of these to OSHA b/c this company is causing harmful materials to enter or waterways by not cleaning up their trash. DO BETTER!

Honestly customer service is the worst. Is like they dont want to talk to you. I make a call to make a payment and I dont know my account number so I have to talk to a representative to provide it for me. After being on hold forever I say "hey to make a payment... but..." she says "okay give me a minute" without letting me finish she takes me back to the machine. Now, I have to call again and wait on hold for them to such a simple thing.

So now I am trying to pay my bill online last month I paid by check and the person who puts the amount in the system put the wrong amount so this month I was charged a late fee because I called to make sure they received my payment and this is when I was told I submitted the wrong amount. When the employee checked an image of my check she noticed the error on their part so I was charged a late fee.The error was theirs. Now can't talk to people the office is closed

By far, the worst utility company I have ever dealt with across 3 states in the USA.
1) Charge a ridiculous $3.50 to pay by card in this day and age.
2) Only way to pay free is to mail paper check with online Bill Pay or a similar service of your bank.
3) They never process checks on time and then charge you late fees. You cannot fight back because there is no way to prove whether the check was actually late. Only option is to send it a couple of weeks or more ahead of time.
4) Customer service usually answers immediately, but they are rude and not very interested in providing any help or explanation.

Hate they company they a rip off… I’ll never move where they service areas
