SolarSource Florida is the firm you should select for your solar system needs! We've also experienced the same door-to-door salespeople, wandering the neighborhood trying to sell solar systems. They often use aggressive sales tactics, despite having little understanding of how solar systems work or how to ensure the system chosen will suit your needs. I received quotes from 13 different companies before finally narrowing it down to SolarSource Florida. They support local businesses and contribute to American manufacturing. Our system has been operational for roughly a month and has eliminated our electricity bill! Our household is large, with two 4-ton AC systems, a swimming pool, and a Tesla, and our lowest electricity bill used to be over $350 a month, with the highest being over $750! We've already produced over 1.1MWh of energy from the system, averaging around 50KWh per day. We now have over 40 panels installed (380W each) with a new load center. To make the system blend in with the house, the combiner box was installed inside the garage. All conduit running from the roof to the combiner box was tactically placed out of sight and painted to match the house. A special mention goes to our salesman, Cesar, and the technicians, including Austin, who did an excellent job. Every step of the process, from system design (including the modifications I requested) to installation and activation, was seamless. There was always proactive communication from Cesar and Austin. Despite a minor delay due to weather, the installation resumed as scheduled, with communication updates at every step. Now, I check the enphase app on my phone daily and couldn't be happier with the decision we made. Seeing a zero balance on our electricity bill is a joy! venturing into the world of solar power for the first time can be a bit daunting, which was exactly my situation. i initiated my search for a solar company and installer in jacksonville, without much knowledge about solar panel sizes or the intricacies of nem2.0 and nem3.0. i was, however, sure of one thing - i wanted to support a local business rather than a large corporation. after spending several months researching, i discovered a company that stood out. on the day i requested information, austin, the sales representative, contacted me and arranged a face-to-face consultation for the following day. austin was incredibly patient, taking the time to explain everything in detail. he provided me with comprehensive information on how solar systems operate, how many panels my house would need, and what the installation process and timeline would look like. we chose to proceed with a 16-panel, 6.0 kw system. austin kept me informed throughout the entire paperwork and permit process. within a month, all necessary permits and approvals were secured, and the system installation was scheduled for just over a month later. although there was a slight hiccup with the original installation date due to a double booking, a new date was set for two weeks later. on the day of installation, the team, including cesar, arrived promptly, began their work on time, and completed by 2pm. they were professional and friendly, leaving the area neat and tidy post-installation. in the process, a few of my room tiles got damaged, but they promptly replaced them. they even repaired some of my cracked tiles as an extra service. the system was operational on the same day, although getting the pto took a little longer due to a backlog. in conclusion, i can't recommend this company enough for your solar needs. i've already suggested them to a friend who is also pleased with their system. despite a few minor hiccups along the way, the company's customer service was exceptional, with prompt responses to emails and phone calls.
