I had to replace my roof which required the removal and remounting my 29 photovoltaic (PV) panel system as well as removal of my 7-panel pool solar system. The initial PV installer was from south Florida, so I was concerned about timely support to meet the roofers schedule and decided to go with a local company. Excel Solar gave us excellent support for our pool solar over the years and didn't know until recently they dealt with PV systems as well. Had I known that, I would have worked with then on the initial install. Kelly, Sophie, and Glenda were awesome in conducting the site visit, providing the timely estimates, answering questions and coordinating the entire removal and remount operations. The team always got back to me in the same business day as we worked back and forth with status of the re-roof actions. And if a phone conversation was more appropriate, they were there for us. Always personable, friendly, and attentive to our needs. The price was very reasonable and included a veteran's discount, which we greatly appreciated. The crew did an excellent job removing the pool and PV systems and remounting the PV system after the re-roof inspection passed. They kept me informed of their actions and were on the job site at their scheduled time, preceded with a courtesy call to advise how far out they were from arrival. Courteous and professional. The PV system came back on line with no issues. I will be contacting Excel Solar on a yearly basis for inspection and as needed for any PV maintenance issues with full confidence they will continue to provide 5-star service.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Owner is thoughtful and considerate. It was a big decision on which company to choose. They responded quickly and showed up when they said. Don’t hesitate to call Excel Solar. Best way to heat our pool and hot water for our house.

We recently had solar installed for our pool. Excel Solar is the best! They were right on target with their quote, professional and efficient in their installation, and easy to deal with on the administrative side as well. They have an excellent staff, both office and "on the roof", which makes it seamless from the customer's perspective. We just had a new roof done by Ralph Carpenter Roofing and they recommended Excel as the contractor that they like to deal with when solar is involved. The entire team approach was excellent.

We are very happy we chose Excel Solar for heating our pool. We were referred to Excel by our roofer, when we replaced our former system/roof in January this year.

Very professional and quick response time too. We were enjoying warm 88 degree water in about a week! Also thank you to our installer for helping to remove a little springtime debris while on our roof!
