What an awesome place! Sam and his team are just the nicest people. We stayed with them as Harvest Hosts guests with a very large rig…over Christmas. We just needed to relax a couple days and ride our motorcycles thru the keys. They totally accommodated and made our Christmas. We bought a load of fresh veggies and grilled while there. Me missed the famous milkshakes but will get some next time 😁

We stayed at the Farm with Harvest Host. Sam and Tony were super friendly and wonderful to deal with. The farm and market area were super clean and well taken care of with lots of yummy produce.

We got in late and we’re heading out the next day and the market was going to be closed. We ordered on line and the box of goodies were left at our trailer.

The vegetables were all so fresh and healthy looking. We recommend you come by if you are in the area. Check ahead to see when the market is open.

We will be back if we are in the area even if it is just to pick up some vegetables!

BEWARE: I bought a watermelon from Whole Foods with a sticker saying it’s FROM THIS FARM. It is definitely injected with the artificial dye some farmers started using. If you use a white plastic spoon it’ll eventually discolor after a while OR you can use a cotton ball to dab the surface and see that it contains dye not fresh light pink watermelon juice. It will stain the cotton ball. Either method works. First time I ate one unaware I got a horrible headache (which never happens to me) so please know this dye is artifical, controversial, and who knows what farming methods are being used if they’re injecting their fresh produce with artificial chemicals.

I pre-ordered 2 nice boxes of produce (one fruit, the other vegetables) and picked it up this morning. A little hard to find, because they are operating out of a small storefront location on Krome Ave. (no sign...) but everything is beautiful and I only paid $28.50 for all of it.
