This has been the WORST CS experience ever!!! Ive been calling almost everyday since last week1/30/24 to confirm my bulk pickup in my area. Was told pickup scheduled for 2/1/24 so have items outside. That's where they still are. NO ONE there wants to take any responsibility. All they keep telling me is there is no updates available on my account and i need to wait. Wait for what? Should be a simple solution to this. This makes no sense and ive had them pickup at my house in the past so not understanding what the confusion is.

BY FAR THE WORST SERVICE ! We recently moved to homestead, so we’ve always dealt with Miami dade. With that being said WEVE NEVER EXPERIENCED such horrible service, not only do we actually get charged for this service monthly (an absurd amount) something we never had to do with miami dade trash yet WE NEVER experienced these issues. They didn’t pick up our trash the entire week, not only mine but my entire communities trash. I call to report it, they said they’ve been receiving a lot of calls with the same complaint and they couldn’t explain why. Didn’t even send anyone to fix the issue. The following day for pick up it was a holiday, so you already know, they don’t work holidays, all our trashes are full and filled with flies. I have cameras in the front of our home and this is the fourth time this happens. This is absolutely ridiculous. Can’t wait to move out of homestead !

They haven't picked up our trash in over a week. The cans have been outside and today they picked up my neighbors trash and did not pick up mine. I just moved to Homestead and I have to say the trash removal is unreliable. You call the number and no one picks up. The voice mailbox is full. Recycling removal is also pretty bad. The whole neighborhood stinks because everyone has had their trash out for days.

I've been living at my new home for only a month and I've found my trash container in the middle of the road with trash all around it twice already. I took pictures but the system will now allow me to post them. Lack of professionalism

There is never anyone available on the weekends at the Solid Waste department. I love wasting time so I will continue to try to use their services. I'm literally here waiting at the gate so I can off load tree limbs and I've already been here for a half an hour during their working hours and haven't seen one person here. I'm glad my taxes are going to good use. I'm sure they are spending it on gasoline to keep a truck running under a tree with a city employee resting in the air conditioning. How special.

on 8/25 the garbage truck broke the wheels off of my container. When I tried to call Solid Waste at 9:30 AM -no one answered. I tried again at 9: 50 again no answer. I called City Hall only to be sent into an endless loop of answering machine with multiple prompts with a promise of a recorded conversation that never occurred! I had to call City Hall and demand that the operator call Solid waste internally while I waited for 5 mins on hold. Finally I was told to leave the container curbside someone would replace in the next week. Local govt wonders why its citizens make fun of City Hall . This is why!

I have been waiting over an hour on Sunday Morning at 548 Southeast 6th Avenue to drop off some palm branches that I trimmed from my trees. I rented a small trailer yesterday And have to return it this morning. This location for dumping is supposed to be 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. according to the sign. Now I will be stuck with a second day charge. this is absolutely unacceptable!!!

Its a joke. Everytime I come on the weekend, no one is here. 7 days a week is the biggest lie. They are suppose to have someone one site but send them off to do something else. Why can't they have at least a number for the weekend so that people dont have to wait hours for the chance of someone coming to open the gate.
