RENTER BEWARE!!!!
If I could give negative 100 stars I would.
This place doesn’t care about its residents whatsoever. I live in the VILLAS of the Park at Chelsea and let me tell you this is the worst renters experience I have had in my adult life. The floors of my unit have been rotting since long before I moved into the unit and the apartment management has refused to fix them properly. It took me seeking legal council and falling through the floors TWICE before they had a company come out to fix them.
Upon returning to my apartment after the “fix” took place. I came home to an absolute wreck, my belongings were thrown all over my apartment every counter covered in dirt and wood glue. My bath tub was filled with wood chips, dirt, wood glue and pieces from the rotten sub flooring that was taken up.
Isabel in the office is so rude it’s not even funny. She yells at you and then hangs up on you mid sentence before you can respond to whatever it is she just screamed at you.
There are drug addicts who pillage through the dumpsters and live in woods right behind the playground. Posing a threat to the safety of the residents in the neighborhood and leaving us frightened to even take our trash to the dumpster after dark.
The amenities have been unusable the entirety of my residency with only sporadic periods of pool being open even though the water was green or black. Supposed to be a gated community but the gate is broken for months at a time consistently.
Save your money and the stress and find literally ANYWHERE else to live.

My wife and I have lived here at "The Park at Chelsea" for about 10 years. Yesterday, I had the privilege of meeting Alex. He is the Manager of all the facilities and he is a genuinely nice person. He noticed that the ceiling fan had begun to make a knocking sound inside the fan housing. He said "we will look into that for you Mr. Moore, and then then he left. It was only about 45 minutes when Alex and Steven came back with a replacement and swapped out the older fan. Both Alex and Steven are professional and courteous. My name is Charles Moore and we like it here at our home with the confidence we have with Alex, Steven and Kyra taking good care of all here at Park at Chelsea.
My wife is happy and when she is happy, then I am happy. Sincerely, Charles Moore

I enjoy it here, the fact that’s it’s near the nature and the affordability. My only complaints are the amenities are not really available. Like maybe making the gym 24/7 available and a better playground for the children. The pool got fixed after the flood. So at least got that but that’s another thing about this place , that’s it a flood zone. I lost my car and tools here. If don’t want to be in spot where it floods don’t come here. Aside from that I really like it here, I’ll miss it when I decide to leave.

I gave it a one star rating because I can’t give any lower. I am a current tenant who has been living here in the villas for almost 3 years. (looking for somewhere new) When we first moved in everything was fine got accepted and moved in right away. Since then there has been probably 3-5 different people in the office who don’t know what they are doing. I have had to have my floors fixed 3+ times due cheap hire and incompetence. There’s been several danger alerts about the safety of our homes and belongings due to the homes less around. the front gates have not been working. and the women in the in the office is rude and has so empathy or care for her tenants. Very rude. Apartments are cheaply painted and put together for high rent. not worth it. If you are thinking of moving here. This place is a scam. Please do yourself a favor and save your money.

A very pretty community, surrounded by nature, and very spacious outdoor space for an apartment community.Lots of open space and parking. The two-bedroom floorplan was also very nice and large, and seemed well maintained. The office staff was friendly and knowledgeable, in particular Kyra who was very friendly and helpful.

I am writing because there were two hurricanes back-to-back, and everyone lost things, whether they were vehicles, furniture, or personal items of value. The bottom line is that the Regional Supervisor/Property Manager Tammy Knowles has a cold heart, and she’s racist. I have had two encounters with her: once in May, after sending her an email asking her to give me until May 25th to pay my rent, because I had an emergency that came up. I would pay rent with the late fees, but I was served a three-day notice to vacate the apartment, and then she filed an eviction with the courts. The issue was resolved between the two of us regarding the eviction, but I had attorney fees and court fees because it had been filed, which cost me $536; I paid this as agreed with a letter of agreement that I emailed Tammy about the rent payment plan each month. I know they have a lease agreement, but they need to have a heart for the tenants that keep their jobs available. I asked for grace after the hurricanes in October to split the rent payment with no late fees. Given that we could have all been underwater due to the grace of God, it was only our material things that were lost, not our lives. I asked in October if I could split my rent and waive the late fees for November via email, but Tammy never responded, except with a three-day notice to vacate the apartment, along with taking a split payment. The email stated that I would be paying rent on the first and the 25th of November. I never received a response when I emailed Tammy about splitting the rent; if I would have gotten a response from her, I would have paid the rent without a problem. I tried to pay the rest of my rent on the 25th of November, but couldn’t make the payment because of the $250 late fees added on, along with my rent amount for December as well. This has never happened before; I have been here for 13 months. I signed a lease 14 months ago and gave my 60 days' notice, but now Tammy has sent in a writ for possession of her property on the 19th, after I had already spoken to her assistant manager and given a date to move out on the 27th, but the writ was already electronically signed on the 19th. I addressed the writ letter to the assistant manager, and I was advised to send an email and leave the keys on the countertop. I spoke with Tammy about the situation and explained why I paid the rent in split payments, due to the situation with the two hurricanes, but she did not mention that she responded to any of my emails about not waiving the late fees for November. I know that the writ could be canceled, but I was told that she could not do anything since she had moved forward, and I had a stipulation that caused the eviction, but I paid everything back in May. I was dismissed by Tammy’s behavior today when I was speaking with her; I didn’t appreciate being treated like I was no one. I find it heartbreaking that corporations mistreat their tenants with disrespect and do not care about their livelihood. They do not care about evicting the tenants from their property and adding to homelessness. Everyone is a number, and the amount on the rent increases for renewal is a legal right scam. I d thank God for Isabel a woman who has a right heart for the tenants and will make a GREAT manager.

I have lived here for 3 years and have always loved our apartment and community. My kids love it here and we feel safe which is very important to me. This complex is in a gated community and we haven't had any issues with the gate since going under new management. The grounds are well kept, we have a pool, a gym, and a nice playground. We've had the same neighbors for the past 3 years and have a great relationship with them. The apartments are very spacious and they have a great layout. We have a 2 bedroom apartment with a loft and 2 bathrooms. We have a nice large screened in porch with a beautiful view. I will say under the old management Maintenance was not the best however since the new management team took over they have always addressed any issues promptly and they do an amazing job! 👏 We love our apartment at the Park at Chelsea.

This place is a scam. We put down a deposit and my husband got a promotion the same day and we have to relocate to Orlando. They refuse to refund our deposit even though Florida statue states we’re entitled to a refund. Save your money and find a better place. The units are all run down, and they are dishonest.
