I'm a current patient at Bear Creek. Everyone here is so helpful.You always have 2 or more people waving down the hall waving at me.Medication and food is always on time. I get reminders on shower days and therapy sessions. My family was able to decorate my room and fill it with favorite family photos and snacks.Me and my roommate get visits from her dog which makes me smile. I give high recommendation, no area of improvement in my eyes. Thank you Bear Creek Team

FIVE STAR HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Recently my husband was hospitalized for ten days with a highly contagious bacterial infection. After ten days he was discharged from the hospital and he was accepted by Bear Creek for Skilled Nursing Care and Rehabilitation. He was in a private room because he was still potentially contagious. The atmosphere at Bear Creek is incredible. From day one, we were overwhelmed with the kindness and warm care he received. From the front office staff to maintenance and housekeeping, we received smiles every day. My husband was visited by (I believe) every department head in the facility to see what he needed or wanted. Every day, Justin Beck, Admissions Director, would come to my husband’s room to see if he had any questions or needed anything or if he had any concerns. Justin did this every day for the 20 days my husband was there. No concern went unaddressed. I went every day myself and spent at least half a day with my husband. While I was there, I saw the warmth and caring that the staff gave to the residents. Each wing has a Registered Nurse and the nurses are the only ones who administer meds. Which was reassuring as my husband still had a bit of brain fog when he was admitted to BC. The meals were exceptional as well. His dietary needs were addressed and met. He had physical therapy every day as well as occupational therapy. He arrived unable to get up out of bed and left on a walker. Due to the intense physical therapy, the walker was just a precaution. Once home, he continued the PT he learned at Bear Creek and is now completely mobile again. I would recommend Bear Creek to anyone looking for a safe loving place for their loved one. Thank you to the Bear Creek Staff. We will never forget you and the wonderful care received there.

Bear Creek Nursing Home in Hudson, Fl was a godsend for my husband and myself these past 8 months. We were welcomed with open arms and immediately felt the comfort of knowing that we had made the perfect decision for placement for my husband,

Both of us were always treated with respect and kindness. The staff not only showed professionalism but true caring for each patient.

Staff members of every department showed integrity of their particular role in the caring of my husband. From Administration, Billing, Reception to all Nursing Staff, PT, OT, Dietary, Activities, Housekeeping Staff, and Laundering Dept...everyone showed compassion and the willingness to assist in any way possible to make my husband's stay at Bear Creek the most comfortable experience, especially during the weeks before his passing. I feel that every one of them are part of my family and I'm indebted to all their love and help to get through this most difficult time.

One more thing, as soon as I walked in the front door that very first day in Nov 2023, I knew that I had made the best decision to choose Bear Creek during the last months of my husband's life.

Justin and his team were so helpful and worked quickly to get my father into Bear Creek after my father had spent one night in another facility that was over an hour commute for us Bear Creek feels inviting is bright ,clean and everyone that we have interacted with is very pleasant it’s only been one night praying my father gets better soon and grateful that he’s so much closer to home Thank you

As a Healthcare professional with high expectations for patient care, I can not say thank you enough to everyone at Bear Creek. Therapy was great for a skilled nursing center offering a decent amount of therapy time. My dad enjoyed his stay, staff was responsive and food was good. Overall, it was a great experience.

I have since moved my mother into the long-term care there from another facility. Thank you Vanessa for helping me get my mother moved so quickly and checking in on her to make her transition pleasant.
