Where do I start. From the beginning when I signed my daughter up at this school has been pure awesomeness. The front office staff was very thorough and attentive during the enrollment process. My daughters teacher were quick to respond to any of my messages and emails. It was my daughters first year last year attending school on campus after her first year doing virtual do to covid. This year has gotten off to another great start with new amazing teachers. I am a firm believer that communication is everything and this school does it well. Thank You Gateway for taking good care of my little girl.

I used to go to this school. I had good friends, they were pretty nice. But the actual school is very...bad. I was reading some reviews, and saw some people that go to this school have very bad grammar. This shows that some teachers don't teach students correctly. Some teachers are cool, like Mrs. Matolcy. The food is gross except for the chicken. And there are many fights. One of the kids in my class had to get stitches because of a nasty fight. Please, don't send your kids here. Take it from a kid, who went here.

This school is a complete joke ! If I could rate this school a 0 I would 🤬. I had to take my kids out of this school because its really bad, I’ve witnessed fights while picking up & dropping off my kids to school and the so called safety of the school “security” either take no action, look away or sit there and watch the fight until it gets severe !!! Administraition has no care for the safety of these children they are incompetent & severely lack communication. The main registration lady would just turn away and ignore you when walking into the office with no “hello” or greeting whatsoever well F off too Ordóñez 😤. My kids constantly kept me informed of all the bullying their friends and peers where facing all the time and absolutely nothing being done about it. I complained to the principle several times regarding these concerns amongst many but not a care in the world - Anderson is the worst principle a school can have a complete clown 🤡 !! Take your kids elsewhere, your child(ren) will thank you later .

It’s a horrible school. The structure is a mess. The staff doesn’t care of your child’s well being nor their education. There is a LACK of communication with parents and teachers. As you can see with all the reviews, this is NOT a good school. They fail to report incidents to parents such as fights, bullying, and accidents. The reason I found out that my child was being bullied by another bigger child is because my child is very open with me and told me a kid punched him and verbally harassed him. The very own principle minimize the situation. my child and I feel that this school is NOT safe and is NOT make sure that the child is receiving the best education. This is very sad. I hope you consider all these post before you put your child here.

I ENCOURAGE YOU TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER SCHOOL! Please make sure that your child is in a safe environment!

I currently go here & in the 8th grade. So far I think it’s a great school! The teachers actually do care about getting your grades up & passing. The reason I only gave it 4 stars though is because of the many fights that take place. I’ve had one happen right next to me & the security guard barely took any action in stopping it. Also, the restrooms (especially the female restroom) is never really clean. There’s either wet paper towels or toilet paper hanging on the ceiling or on the wall, toilet paper that someone put in the sink to clog it up, writings on the stall doors & walls especially swear words, & unflushed toilets which can sometimes have a little surprise in there that is not very engaging to look at. I even found a live lizard crawling in the wall! Another reason is mainly about the kids, there are ones who do their work & ones who dont & like to cause trouble. But overall I think it’s a very great school!!

This school is okay . the teachers actually care about your education and will want you to succeed and pass the grade . the students there are not really good , they judge , or just like make fun of you . if you ignore , do your best, respect, behave good, there will be no problems with the students, or teachers. it’s not the teachers , or anything it’s just the students . the school is actually a B school . there are smart students there who are extremely good but also have students who are bad and doesn’t care about school. the security’s there are funny and protective. they play around with you but also cares about your safety. there is multiple fights which of course have in every school don’t get me wrong but if you mind your own business and choose the right friends and learn , you’ll be alright .

This school is ok. A little understaffed but the ones that do work are great both of my kids have gone here and they were happy while there. Teachers need to communicate better with the parents when something is missing.

To sum up this school its terrible. The past years at this school have been the worst mentally. Some of the teachers are pretty good and actually do want to see you succeed (Ms.Hall, Ms.Williams, Ms.Morejon, Ms.Lee) but some of the teachers get mad at you for asking questions which is a little weird because they tell you to in the first place. If you dont do work fast enough they get mad. And i guess the student is sort of at fault but shouldnt you be teaching the kids in a way that they get it? Another thing is most of the students here are very rude and judgmental. Ive met people here and some are actually pretty good but never have i met someone here that doesnt make fun of disabled people or minorities. But then again its a middle school so i guess it should be expected. Also you feel very unsafe here due to all the fights. All in all, this whole experience has felt like I was holding my breath. I dont have one good experience with this school. Please dont send your kids here.
