I have lived in two other HOA communities and served on the boards with a company management in place. The property manager that takes care of our property here in Pointe West Central has truly dropped the ball. It is his or her job to follow through on residential complaints as well as keeping the community informed about changes or violations that are being addressed. Yes there are steps and protocols in place but when residents have exceeded those warnings and do not take care of property issues Elliot Merrill still has to be called and reminded about taking care of an issue or complaint. Yes, three strikes and you are out. This company is skating on thin ice.

This company has a difficult work environment characterized by favoritism, unequal workload distribution, and hostile, discriminatory practices that have been reported to upper management without resolution. Policies and rules are applied inconsistently, often depending on whether an employee is in favor. For instance, smokers are allowed to take numerous breaks without consequences, while non-smokers are penalized for raising concerns about this disparity.

Additionally, there are significant issues with HR, where confidentiality is not upheld, and employees who speak up or defend themselves against unfair treatment face the risk of retaliation, including termination. Caution is advised when addressing any issues with HR or management.

Management presence is also a concern, with some managers rarely showing up to work, leaving those who do attend to be mistreated and subjected to unprofessional behavior. Workload distribution among managers and administrative assistants is uneven, leading to employees being overworked and underpaid. The accounting department faces similar challenges.

The current management lacks the ability to effectively lead the team, as they fail to lead by example and demonstrate significant favoritism. This creates a disjointed and inequitable work environment, further eroding morale and productivity.

We have the rudest manager at our Woodfield location. My husband is terminal. Our life is difficult enough without this pompous nasty man talking down to my husband. His name is Dan and he is horrendous! This guy doesn’t have a compassionate or kind bone in his body.

They have no knowledge on how to manage a high rise building.
A company that shows no regret or remorse . Not good people...
