I worked with Tri-State through a subcontracted install company so that renewable energy credits could be sold through the Illinois Shines Program. After many emails, Tri-State did not follow through in submitting the SREC contracts to Illinois Shines. Because of this I have lost out on about $8,000 in rebates. This company has become unreliable and I would not do business with them. I rate them at zero stars. 100% do NOT recommend.

Tim and Dennis installed my solar system and did some other electrical work for me also. They did excellent work and did it exactly how I wanted it done. They took care of the mountain load of paper work that my utility company required along with all the state and federal stuff too. Great home town service, I give them an A+.

I have dealt with Tri-State Renewable Energy for years. They installed my solar system 6 - 7 years agov I have had no issues and I'm thrilled with my solar system. Since then I have dealt as liason between Tri-State Renewable and some of their customers. I can honestly say that they are a legitimate company that does what's in the best interest of their customers. They have one of the best warranties in the industry and have great customer service. They over deliver on their promises and go above and beyond to make sure that the solar system works the way they say it will.

Dennis and his team did a fantastic job for us. Very helpful with the process in getting solar panels. I would absolutely recommend them if you are interested in getting solar panels. Staying local is best. 10 out of 10 and they always answered my calls and text!

What a great group of people to deal with! Would rate them 10 stars if I could! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Had a solar system installed a couple years ago and couldn’t be more pleased. A word of advice.. stay with a LOCAL and trusted company like THIS company for your solar and electrical needs and you can’t go wrong. Thanks again guys!

Very knowledgeable on the system that I needed. Was very helpful in the paperwork that I would need for refund and rebates. Had a problem with the inverter at first. They got hold of the company to resolve the situation in a short matter of time. Had a severe storm come through, they contacted me to make sure that there was no damage to the system. The system has been working flawlessly for over a year now and I'm very happy with the system. The other thing that I like he is local. You need to be very careful of what I call solar scammers that are not local!!! Once they put your system in you'll never see them again!! Unlike Tri-State Renewable Energ, I would highly recommend them!!

The guys were great to work with. They are very knowledgable, professional, helpful and great communicators. They did an awesome job setting everything up and explaining it. They took care of everything and when they were finished, they made sure everything was cleaned up. Im very pleased with the overall project and would recommend them to anyone thinking about installing solar. I couldn't be any happier with the end result.
