It has been about 9 months since I started with Nexamp.
My experience has been everything I wanted without any problems. I wanted Community Solar. I've got that plus saving some $ in addition. (I was surprised to learn how little of my Ameren bill actually went to electric energy generation). Nonetheless I am happy to know my payment goes to solar power as opposed to coal.
Customer service has been unfailingly positive. I asked question and got correct answers. It took a couple months to get a spot on a solar farm but I knew that was coming..
I worried about automatic bill collection after reading reviews so I started off with monthly paper bills.. Everything went smoothly so I switched to automatic payment and and that has been problem free.
I'm very happy I made the switch and I wholeheartedly recommend Nexamp to everyone.

I’ve been using NextAmp for a while now, and while the potential savings are significant, the implementation process isn’t as straightforward as advertised. It took quite a long time for the setup to be completed and still not applied to my account for Ameren, which is a bit frustrating as I had initially set up an account with Nexamp at the end of October, I believe.

I was also told I could have a referral code yet each time I try to request it and an email is sent. There’s no referral code for me to utilize to spread the word which I’ve been trying to do and that alone deserves a gift card because I’ve told a lot of people about it.

I believe the service has great potential, but the initial experience left me wanting a bit more in terms of efficiency and customer support. If NextAmp could provide me a gift card to compensate for the lengthy setup time, I’d be more than happy to update my rating to five stars. The savings are going to be substantial, and I do appreciate the service overall, but addressing this concern would make the experience much more satisfactory.

Poor customer service. All I get is notification of payment being processed. I cannot verify any savings with this company. It appears I pay them more than the discount I receive on my electric bill. I'm wanting to be out with but cannot get them to verify they are processing my cancelation notification. It takes them 90 days to final out. In my opinion, stay away from this company. They are not ready for prime time yet.

The 50/50 partnership beats others. Automatically reduces my electric bill by a nice chunk and then I get a bill for half. Well worth the effort and looking forward to my first sunny summer of savings.

I'm happy this service is available in my area. What's not to like? There are no contracts, so you can opt out at any time. There is no installation fees, no maintenance of solar panels. Nothing up on your roof. Just credits on your electric bill. It was a no-brainer for me.
Yes as of now there are 2 bills, one to your utility as before, one to Nexamp. But that should resolve in the near future, and all billing will be through the utility.
I am happy Nexamp was able to add my state to their roster of users. I hope solar energy continues to expand to other areas.

Terrible!!! They have failed to bill me for months and months. My bill from them will be in excess of $1000 by the time they get it straightened out. I have been able to talk to one live person one time and was told they would fix it and call me back. No one called. Now their voicemail says that I need to call back during business hours....when I am calling during business hours. Run away from this business!

I have been with Nexamp for well over a year. My bills have gone way down from day one and it's good to know it's helping the future for my grandkids.
