There has been ZERO support, and requests to meet with this supposed Patient and Family Relations team has been outright ignored or refused. RML was aware that my dear brother with down syndrome had been through a very traumatic medical experience, and that he needed his essential caregivers, my parents; as well as his support system- his brothers and sisters to be present to support him throughout his healing process. This is a reasonable accommodation that has not interfered with any function of operation. As established, he has rights protected both Federally and in the State of Illinois to reasonable accommodations (even during the pandemic) and supportive care. These rights have not been acknowledged or allowed to him at RML. He has not been afforded ANY mental health care or therapies! This is unacceptable, and completely opposite to what your website promises, not to mention in violation of his protected rights under ADA and IDPH.

After many weeks and repeated attempts for my brother’s civil rights, his health deteriorated and he acquired a hospital born and life threatening infection in his spine as a result of poor care at RML. He was paralyzed and although after lifesaving surgery at RUSH has regained feeling and mobility, he is still unable to walk and move normally after now 3 years. I know there are not many options for many patients, but DO NOT allow your loved ones to be at this place. And if they must be there- make sure to have loved ones with them as often as possible, and be ready and prepared to advocate and fight for their well being and care. This place should have been shut down years ago. Unfortunately we have no recourse because this happened during COVID, and healthcare systems take ZERO responsibility even when they are at great fault.

My husband was, there. They did not give him good care. They did not answer lights, I had to find Nurse. He needed a procedure, they kept giving excuses. They didn't know he had a heart attack or even know he had the flu. They incubator him and send him to Hinsdale hospital, where I found out about it. He died, when, he was taken off being incubator. I blame R LM.

I was a patient here and this place beats any other wound care nursing facility by leaps and bounds. The care I received was second to none. Blanca was my wound care nurse and was Aces for me. Steve B was my intake coordinator and he explains anything of importance in detail. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Zero stars . I do not recommend this hinsdale location. Glad we were able to get our loved one out of that facility. Never ever send your loved ones to RML. How dare hospitals send ppl there. Weening off a vent will not happen maybe for 2 weeks they will try if you start improving they stop with taking care of thr patient. They will waste days of health insurance. They claim your loved one is not sick when they are very sick. Patients are dollar signs to these places. Its Unbelievable this place is still open . Pulmonary doctor lied saying our loved one was fine and should stay. DONT DO IT DO NOT SEND LOVED ONES HERE... hospitals are shocked doctors have gone to check it out and yes they say its terrible at Rml hinsdale. Doctors are not there 24/7 we were told this by one of the staff on a Friday. . Also by your female pulmonary S.T. that why do we need to have a doctor here 24/7 ... how many patients actually walk out of that death trap facility alive How many do you actually treat with compassion? Why do you tie up your patients? Why do your staffed nurses and others hide? Why did the coordinator run out the building after she was told the hospital a loved one came from wanted her out of there asap? Why do your patients get mysterious sick after there families see that you all are not helping the patients get better or treatments stop?

No stars !! Always read the reviews !! Wish we would have. You want to see what a nightmare looks like... D wing ... care coordinator (Michelle F), you should be ashamed of yourself. How can they allow these, so called health workers to treat & allow them to neglect sick elderly human beings.. not helping and getting away with it is beyond me .. RCP ( Susan) should not be allowed to work there at all. She will tie a patient up that is on a ventilator. Put 2 sucction equipment near both sides of a persons mouth and leave. From 3:20 pm to 8 pm. They claim to have a doctor on call there 24/7 right . It's not true at all. D wing nurse manager , patient-care services (D.A.O) came to the room and stated there will be no admin in the building on a certain weekend in June . I do NOT recommend this place. They will try to make it hard to take your loved one out . I'm surprised this facility is still open. Our loved ones, after trying to get them out various times, did leave, they claimed , that they should not have left because our loved one was fine... when an ambulance came for our loved one.. we felt so relieved.. A caring doctor at a real hospital was shocked at how sick she was... Horrible health care service ... using up all the patients' days and not sending therapists or anything .. always putting the patients on 100% oxygen. Knowing the patients' lungs would get worse doing so. The nursing staff was a joke . The neglect of all your patients is inhumane. No jordan or doctors on the weekend .. I asked many times for the notes and meds she was given and MIchelle F never gave them to us..nor the nurses.. you all lie about everything . You can walk through the entire facility and everyone would be hiding or on there cell phone. Pt stopped . The speech person stopped coming. The one with the red hair. Alot of people know about this place. One weekend it we didnt see her nurse for 4 hours no matter how many times we pressed the button. She claims she was on lunch for 4 hours... so my loved one was not cared for once again for many hours..Hopefully they read the reviews. Call you lol reach out to Jordan smh ... if I did that our loved one would have suffered alot more.. everytime we questioned something .. our loved one all of a sudden did worse..
Never did I say anything about the other RML which also read the reviews 🤔 the same. This place is terrible . Pulmonary Dr. Also said they do not have doctors on the WEEKEND especially if it's a holiday weekend. Thank you ... would you like to hear it ...

This place is going down the tubes! My family and I looked up the salaries of the administration people And cannot believe what we saw! The president of this place makes over $1 million a year, and then the lady underneath him makes around maybe 400,000 a year! So why on earth does this place seem so Chaotic with no staff?!

The more I look at the reviews, the more everybody is saying the same thing! Do these people not know this is all public information and eventually the state or the health department is going to come in and see what type a Joke of a hospital they’re running, this place seems to be runoff of greed and power and In the meantime, you see patients suffering while you pass their rooms, Banging remotes on the sides of beds, Legs hanging out of bed, The place stinks! And all these poor employees are running around like chickens with their heads cut off! We clearly chose another facility and completely agree with most of the reviews on here! Maybe this place was good years ago, but now?! Absolutely not!!!

RML services are stellar. My only child was sent to the facilities in Hinsdale. She was very sick when she was admitted. The staff has gone beyond being professionals. They have been caring, loving and have great bedside manners. The nurse Ruth has been a blessing. She made me feel that there was a mother figure with my daughter when I was not there. The nurses Paulette and MJ are exceptional. I prayed for my daughter to be surrounded by nurses and doctors that would be instrumental in her healing and I received just that. I thank the facility for going above and beyond.

I'll get straight to it terrible place put my family through hell very unprofessional they did not stick to the plan we had when it was supose to be about 2 weeks and then go home ended up being months and now my family member is worse then when she arrived we had to have her taken out and put in a different facility. Do not send your loved ones here!
