EDS was very professional and informative throughout the design and build process of our new septic tank and sand mound system. Natalie was always there to answer the phone or quickly respond to our emails. She worked directly with the county SEO and made sure the project moved in a forward direction. Ross was amazing and his knowledge of soil and septic design gave us confidence along the way. Greg went above and beyond to make sure the property was staked out for the county to approve the final plan. Everyone at EDS made this process less stressful especially when having to deal with the county. If you are looking for a full service design firm, then look no further. I would recommend them without a doubt to anyone searching for a septic design contractor.

My story using EDS,
I was building an addition for a homeowner, working with a township inspector who also was allowed to contract work for a septic system. Somehow this was legal!? This should not be allowed. This inspector never informed me there were other options for us to take, that we were not required to hire/pay for his companies services.

Anyway, something sounded fishy, prices were high, I felt like myself & the homeowners were being pushed around. They wanted me to tear out & completely redo the entire system all because I was short 400 gallons with the addition square footage. This township wanted coverage to flush 350 gallons per day, on a three bedroom home - unrealistic.
After speaking with EDS I found out this was not at all needed. They provided an alternative design that saved over $20,000 to the project. This was to add another tank without removing the entire system.
They also offered to speak directly to the township & fight on our behalf if nessasary.
No up sell, honest, & my favorite part, the inspector completely backed off after hearing that I hired EDS.

This company is doing it right. I run an honest business and can't stress enough it is hard to find others in this line of work I can trust & appreciate.

Natalie gave us exemplary customer service with consistently friendly, positive, encouraging, and detailed explanations! Ross was a true game-changer in our home-build process; he immediately empathized with our desire to have our home centered on the property (so as to achieve a side-loading garage) and not only suggested a narrow trench in order to achieve that, but he assured us that--if this didn't work--there were other types of septic systems we could explore so that we achieved our ultimate goal of a centered house. He validated our desire by saying that if the house and garage aren't placed as we want them to be, we will be reminded of that every time we come home. He even knew how to make our engineer feel comfortable with the site plan revisions. So Ross was the final "push" that got us to the place we wanted to be! Both Natalie and Ross communicated well with our township's Sewage Enforcement Officer to make the whole process seamless. And when it came time to apply for our sewer permit, Natalie spelled out everything for us and delivered all the documentation and contact info that we'd need. No wonder this company was recommended to us. They were highly responsive and made the process go smoother than we expected. We are grateful!

Environmental Design Services [EDS] is Outstanding! I've never worked with a company that provides both professional & personal 5+ star service on this level. But, EDS and more specifically, (Natalie Lonsinger, Operations Director) did. It's difficult enough for anyone learning to deal with the many governmental permits, deadlines, contractors and regulations required for Septic systems replacements but on top of that you have the physical cost of dismantling of your old system and your new septic system installation cost to contend with. Getting hit with these tens & tens of thousands of dollars of mind-bending expenses can take your breath away.

We were lost, stressed and under duress when we received those intimidating letters and notices from the code enforcement official, but after our first phone contact with Natalie at EDS we felt like we had someone in our corner that we could trust and would be there for us thru the entire ordeal. And, that is exactly what she did! She was amazing! She went the extra mile, even when she didn't have too. She never let us down and stayed thru the completion of the entire process. There was never a question she didn't answer or find the answer about for us. She eased our minds and carried our worries for us. Do Not Doubt this delightful and wonderful woman. She's worth her weight in Gold!
