I attended a retirement seminar for federal employees and Alden Burnett was the financial planner linked with the seminar. For those that attended the seminar two free sessions were offered with a free retirement report. Alden seemed like someone who would devote the time and energy to your specific situation, so I decided to at least go to a meeting. I was impressed with the first meeting and I will be for sure going back for the second session. Alden was able to talk business, but at the same time was very personable and not pushy. This is the first Financial Planner I have seen, but I think he will end up being one of my top choices going forward. if you are looking for someone in the area give him a try.

We are early in our relationship and so far pleased and comfortable. Our representative Alden is clearly intelligent and well prepared. He is authentic and honest about the realities of risk in investing. We both have very little experience with the industry and frankly I have always thought of them as slick and only for rich people. Alden put that anxiety to rest. We look forward to the coming years leading into retirement with much more confidence with Shankland on our side.
