I signed up for this course thinking it was just a few hours online to get certified. Boy was I wrong, in the best way possible. Bill and Milton take this to a whole new level. Even if you are remotely participating like me, be prepared to go into every aspect and spend the time. It is SO worth it.
The best part of this course was the online Monday night reviews. It's when your entire class gets together and goes thru their thoughts on that week's learnings. It was so inspiring hearing what others are doing or dealing with across the world. It makes you realize this is a global movement.
Bill, Milton and team...Thank you so much for bringing your authentic selves to every Monday night meeting. You doing that took theory into practice for me. God Bless you all.

I just finished the permaculture design course for certification online and am so grateful for this experience. Bill's breakdown of the course material and the design exercises were so helpful and I immediately felt equipped with the tools and knowledge to create designs for others. I was so grateful for the course structure so I could watch the videos on my own time and not have scheduled classes to attend. I enjoyed that the videos did include other students so there were plenty of real-life examples of who is in this field and the deep love we all share for this Earth and the beings upon it. Genuinely, I was so touched by the various stories and videos Bill shared along the way that connected this course on a deeper level. I could go on and on, so I'll leave it at this - I 100% recommend the course to anyone who feels called. Thank you MWP team for everything, the inspiration alone for my energy was worth it, but is giving back 10x.

I took the 9-week online course and it was an absolute blast! I've never been so into learning new information. Bill was a great teacher and I feel like I have a new view on the world around me. I struggle with anxiety about the future of our planet and this course has giving me true hope that we can fix the mess we have made of the natural world. I hope to pass what I've learned onto my brother who is running our family's farm in northeast Iowa. Thank you Bill, Megan, and Milton for a great course!

What a great experience! Bill and Milton are great teachers. The approach they take to permaculture is refreshing, relatable, and engaging. It wasn't a one way lecture. We had great discussions, projects to work through, and wonderful interaction with other students. Grateful for the knowledge gained! Great course!

I just completed the 9 week design course and it was absolutely great. I really looked forward to the weekly online review sessions. The support from Bill, Becky, Megan, Will and Milton was amazing. The course materials were extensive and I'm still trying to download all of it.

I had not really considered a course in permaculture (permanent agriculture) before my wife brought it up, but I was quickly 'all in'. I think a good way to think about it is 'this is pre-World War II farming, mostly perennial, but with better science' - meaning none of the industry produced pesticides or fertilizers. You could also think of it as 'lazy farming'. I was particularly taken with the idea of doing larger scale foliar spraying to improve genetic potential of the plants.

The course far exceeded my expectations and was casual but professional. I don't know if we'll make a run at offering design services as a career, but the knowledge we can put to use on our property alone was worth the cost of the course. Thanks, Bill!!

Bill, Becky, and Milton are amazing. And I loved Rachael and Chris at Locavore Farm where our training was held. Super valuable experience all around.
