My son ordered an yellow oreo ice cream cake for my birthday there are no yellow oreos anywhere just yellow cake. They gave us two cups of ice cream for the mistake but he was told that there were yellow oreos inside and there was not. I had to taste the cake just to make sure and no yellow oreos. I'm disappointed my son is upset. Smh

I ADORE Coldstone Creamery located on Dixie Highway in Homewood, Illinois. The icecream is phenomenal. The servers are hardworking and kind. While the environment is not exactly warm and welcoming - Dairy Queen on Ride Road is better for that, BUT this is open year round and has better, but more pricey icecream. It is my GO-TO, NEED A SHAKE/TREAR ASAP ice cream parlor!

The young lady that helped me was kind. But there were lots of people in and out and waiting that weren't greeted. The store had no lids for the size container I got so the employee had to use foil. And as I looked at the back counter, it was extremely dirty. Although the flavors were the quality I expected, there were a lot of ice chips in my ice cream which really sucked. I see lots of bad reviews before me and hope the store can turn around as I love coldstone.

Clearly she over stuffed the container. Majority of the time, if all of the ice cream can’t fit, they’ll put the remainder into a smaller container so that it’s not too full. But instead, we get our ice cream served without the lid completely on and the ice cream EVERYWHERE. Also, when we went inside to order, ourselves and 2 other families had to wait until they were finished completing online orders before acknowledging the customers standing right in front of them. Please do better cold stone homewood 🙁

I ordered a Custom cake for my daughter's birthday.
When I picked up the color was wrong.
I chose green it wasn't that color. They went ahead and fixed best they could because I was told they were out of green food coloring
Ummm ok.(see pic)
The chocolate frosting looked grey.
I was told that was because it's vanilla buttercream frosting mixed with chocolate ganoche. Which is really not chocolate frosting.

I went ahead and took it home because I ordered this on Nov 24th and needed for Nov 27th bday.
So the day of her birthday, I cut open and serve because I have people over.
Well the cake doesn't have the right ice cream(cookie dough) and has no middle layer (fudge).
I call the store and told her the problem.
She took name and number and said manager will call me back.
No call.
Nothing.
Your charging 40 something for. CUSTOM CAKE!
which was NOT provided.
Huge Disappointment!!!!

Don't advertise a product you can't provide.
If there is a problem with my Custom order, you should have called amd said we are out of this, would you prefer something else or want to cancel.
If you want a CUSTOM CAKE.....DO NOT GO HERE.
This was a HUGE DISASTER

Unfortunately there is no one there to help with online order pickups. They are so busy preparing the orders being placed in the store that the people there for online pickups are just standing there for way too long waiting to be helped. I canceled my online pickup tonight for Uber Eats because no one was helping me. There was no indication they would get to me in a reasonable amount of time.
