$1200 later for the full testing and I still can’t get all the test results that I’ve requested. I basically got a five page email stating I don’t have asbestos. I have nothing for mold spore count, air quality nothing and none of the things that I paid for. I’ve sent email after email. I get no response. The frustration to be seven times the amount of mold in my body and super sick and not able to get the testing I paid for to back up the issues I’m having and get reimbursement. It’s just unprofessional. I had to spend more money to get it done right. I now see the equipment that was used and the extent of testing thoroughly checking the moisture levels, attic space, taking samples from the ceiling, swabs and different air samples throughout the area. None of which was provided by Ambient Environmental. Really unprofessional and unacceptable to do to somebody who’s already suffering with sickness.

I was not their client. Their client was the building owner of our apartment. I had concerns about potential asbestos floating around our apartment after some plumbers cut into our drywall. Our building owner had this company come in to get an air sample. Their report seemed like it came quickly, but I wasn't familiar enough with how long it normally takes. I was there for most of the day, but I had stepped out for a period of time. Time. So I was curious if they could tell me when the sample had been taken. After reviewing my security cameras, I wasn't able to figure out when they had arrived.

When I reached out to the company to see if there was anything I could learn about the process, the male owner accused me of calling him a liar, cussed at me, threatened a legal fight, threatened a physical fight, and called my wife the b word. My wife had called and talked to him previously. I was hoping to take a friendlier approach and see if I could do things a bit differently. Seems like it was basically the same outcome. He took every opportunity to talk over me.

I understood that there are just some things that he legally cannot tell me. But this man's lack of professionalism was unacceptable. He said that he has sold the business, which I think is a great thing, because it doesn't seem like they should continue to be in business if this is how they operate. I do not wish them bad, but I do hope that this guy figures out why he is so triggered and angry.

And for anyone else looking for these types of services, I cannot recommend them less.
