The ambiance when you walk in screams black excellence. You can tell this establishment is well taken care of by the owner and employees and that the customer's experience is a top priority. The lady who assisted us was so pleasant.

They have a full menu of deliciously crafted beverages and a nice selection of baked items. They were passing out samples of one of their pressed juices, and it was 🔥! I ended up getting the banana caramel latte and a cheese Danish, which were really good.

The restaurant has plenty of seating. I would highly recommend it.

I ordered the Banana Caramel Latte which is decent. Nothing to really rave about. However - I paid 7.50 for half a cup. There’s nothing in here. It’s more whipped cream than it is drink. Disappointing.

Update to my previous review:

I was contacted by Whitney Hampton and the issue I had yesterday was rectified. Whitney invited me to come back today for my drink to be remade and I must say - it is absolutely delicious. I can taste the banana and caramel in the latte which has so much flavor. The ambience of the establishment is really great as well as the customer service. Highly recommend visiting and highly recommend trying the banana caramel latte. Definitely one of my favorites here and will visit again soon 🫶🏽

June 2024 Update: my favorite coffee shop in Hyde Park ☕️ they are vegan friendly with the choice of milk already included in the price, and have vegan pastries and breakfast foods 🤍 DW is awesome, his friendly and pleasant personality are very welcome in the mornings, and it’s so nice he remembers regulars. Makes a really delicious latte too!

Original 2018 review: I can’t beleive it took me so long to come here and it’s only 3 blocks away! 🏃🏾 This is my new favorite local coffee shop and they have a rewards club which definitely adds to the icing on the cake ⭐️ ! Came for coffee early Monday morning when my usually place was closed. I love that they have vegan and gluten free options as well as many tasty things to choose from 🍩 . The guy that took my order and made my latte was super nice and he made it PERFECT 👌🏾 I don’t like the taste of coffee but I have to drink it for the caffeine, so when I ordered my honey latte extra sweet it was delicious ☕️. I love the atmosphere, they had R&B music playing softly and a tv on mute 🎶 . I also saw they sell alcoholic drinks which makes me wonder if they do happy hours 🍸 this is an awesome spot that’s more than a coffee shop, definitely recommended! 💕

The place is overrated and overpriced to my taste. We came here a few times for coffee, and every time it was overheated to the point that I couldn’t touch the cup 🥵. Lattes had almost no foam, and almond milk latte had super weird texture, like if the milk wend bad 🤨(picture attached). And that’s for 5.75 per 12 oz cup + tip. The service is ok.

I hope their food is better than their coffee, otherwise I don’t see why people are coming here. You’ll get better coffee for better price in literally every other place in the neighborhood.

Been trying to call all morning this was my first time eating here I was in a rush because I had work I opened it up in the car I never ordered egg and the egg was cold the bread was over cooked on both sandwiches it was really just a mess this was my first and last time coming

I have had the utmost pleasure meeting the owner turn off this amazing establishment I am inspired and motivated hearing his story map of his early beginnings and how he has made a name for himself and his business as a business owner myself motivated play and I appreciate the contribution Anthony impact that he has made on the culture I have visited his other locations but this one in Hyde Park is home to me like all of his locations HR different in their design all the staff are knowledgeable and helping you make the best decision if it's your first time for your regular I just want to try something new you are greeted with friendly hellos the warm goodbyes every time I go I never want to leave just because that sense of home that sets of belonging set his business apart from other businesses I pray that the owner creates many more businesses and opportunities for others so if you are ever near any of the simple saver locations please go in and be ready for a amazing experience thank you all for taking time out to read my review

My second stop at a Sip & Savor franchise visit. I admit this branch also has a nice pleasant atmosphere too. The hot chocolate was good here too. This time I had the croissant with butter. I swear that butter was as hard as a brick. Dude must have given it to me straight from the freezer. That plastic knife barely helped. I would like it if it could be arranged to have the butter heated up like that croissant because that butter never did spread on it. Some places melt the butter on for you so I don't see no excuse why this place can't do it either. Other than that unpleasant situation with the butter overall this is a nice place.

I’m a senior who meets seven or eight other ladies for coffee every Friday morning At the 53rd St. coffee shop Sip and Savor. We started coming to your shop a few weeks ago and I have to tell you the customer service that those girls have on Friday mornings that are there from about 10:30 to 12:30 are unbelievable. AJ is AMAZING!!!! She goes out of her way for each and every one of us. She definitely has it all, she makes sure we’re okay! AJ is nice to every customer that walks through the door. Her customer service skills are impeccable, and most of all they’re so nice to us. I just wanted to thank you because it’s such a pleasure coming to your store my daughter and her partner *Now coming in for coffee because I told him how good it was. Thank you it’s nice to have a place to go for a bunch of seniors just to chitchat on a Friday morning, we appreciate you, thank you so much for your staff and what they do.
