Beautiful park... Quiet. There is a bird viewing 'house' where you sit on benches and you get to watch the birds and nature. There weren't many people there I don't know why maybe because the environmental center was closed. However you can visit the park as long as the gates are open. There are lots of trails and it's just a beautiful place. Please don't litter,

I attended the Full Moon Nature Walk tonight. This was my first time at the Pennypack Environmental Center, and I was really impressed with the facility and the event! Lots of local environmental info, cool educational exhibits, very knowledgeable guide, and absolutely lovely nature preserve - all within Philadelphia city limits. Highly recommend for the beautiful nature experience and learning opportunity 😀
