I usually order the whole chicken and small cabbage when I go. The food is always fresh and hot!! There's always plenty so I'm usually eating on it for 2-3 days...

This restaurant uses a microwave to reheat food. $39 to get food from microwave? Asked for refund they refused. Won’t tell anyone’s name. The manager “isn’t here”. Cashier was very rude. I told them I didn’t want the food before it was done out the microwave. Their license isn’t visible neither.

*Completely Crushed*

I have been coming to this Jerk spot for years. However today was my last time. I grabbed a jerk chicken lunch special today with the intentions to devour my plate. I began eating my food and to my surprise I had a (roach) or bug of some sort under my chicken. Horrified and severely unsettled I called the establishment to inform a manager of there unsanitary health conditions to only be told to come back to the location. I live 30 minutes away but nevertheless. I deserved a full refund. While in the restaurant the cashier reacted as if this was an everyday occurrence. No concern nor remorse. I honestly felt like this may happen quit often and she was immune to the facts. I did receive a full refund but I will never return.

JUST NASTY (DO NOT RECOMMEND)

I have been coming here for years and I’m not sure if today is an off day or if they just fell off but I’m disappointed. Prices increasing wouldn’t even bother me if the food quality was consistent. This order of plantain was $7 and that’s just crazy. They aren’t even cooked well, seem drier than usual. I always come here for the oxtail and this time around they aren’t cooked long enough. The meat is way too tough in comparison to the last few times I’ve ordered here. $80 for 3 oxtail dinners and it’s mostly subpar. Hate to say I won’t be back. This place used to really be a gem.

Firstly the location of the restaurant is at a good spot which creates available parking. Additionally, the jerk sauce was good. Now I am not sure why is this establishment still open because the quality of food delivered was the lowest I have ever seen in my life. Chef Ramsey would have thrown the entire restaurant away. Here are some observable issues.

1. The server was consistently coughing over the meals. Considering the pandemic they should wear a mask since they are handling food.

2. The jerk chicken was very burned and extremely dry.

3. The meal had no taste at all and I nearly choked.
4. They definitely need to improve on their customer service. Lastly, the restaurant smelt funny and I felt sick after eating the chicken leg.

So my question is, do residents really know what Jerk chicken taste like? Because this is not it. I pray they read this. Once the food you create is done without love it will be tasteless.

I don't know if they have new cooks or they've simply changed the recipe but the last couple of times I've been very disappointed and have been eating from here for years every since the lady from Daleys opened it. The new bean gravy is horrible, it's extremely red and tastes like tomato sauce. Stop drowning the food with it because its not good and please switch back to the dark/brown gravy.
