I called to ask about the price of sending a fax. The woman on the phone was rude, abrupt, & unprofessional. She told me "we don't give that info over the phone. We're here till 5:00 ." Then hung up. That's why a lot of ppl don't want to do business in some areas.

Poor service!!! The ladies that work here are ghetto and lazy. I recently called to get a price for a window sticker. The lady answered the phone very loud “CURRENCY” … I asked could I have the specific price on a window sticker and she just said 104 and up! I asked for the exact price and she wouldn’t tell me. I called another place and the lady first asked was it a new car or renewal, then she proceeded with options and prices.

That's all I wanted form the individual in Hyde park currency exchange.

The worst location!! I went here to renew my city sticker and was told the system was down state wide. 5 different locations said that’s not true and I got my sticker somewhere else.

I’ve gone in here multiple times for money orders over the last year and a half. This time I simply asked to exchange some quarters, dimes, and nickels for $2 because there isn’t a bank with cash nearby and the clerk was so rude for no reason. She basically just pointed to the Coinstar (that doesn’t work.) I used It and it stole at least 80 cents (way above the exchange rate fees.) and then she told me to leave when I brought it up. It’s YOUR responsibility as a company to put in the report to get that machine fixed or put it out of order if it’s broken not mine…

The two ladies that worked there on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 10:00 am. were extremely disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional. I won't ever go back there. They need to be careful and mindful of how they treat people. No, they don't have to be super friendly to people, but they must be respectful. Most importantly, they need to know God sees everything 🙏🏾.

This place seriously needs new management. The reelected hours online and on their door are not correct. They do not open at 8am nor do they answer their phone until whenever they feel like it. This is unacceptable sub par service, I will be contacting our alderman.

Rude teller on Wednesday, Sept 25, 2024. Taken away the ATM machine. The place looks like a dump. The best thing in there is the CoinStar machine and who wants to use that? Maybe they can replace the teller with the CoinStar machine. Result is the same...nothing.

Staff are extremely rude. Ask a simple question clarifying what services they offer and they will act as if you accused them of lying to you. They will additionally overcharge you for services by classifying your car as heavier than it actually is if you buy a Chicago city sticker. The only reason they are able to remain open is because of their location in Hyde Park. Any other business would’ve gone out of business. Read any other review within the last several years for similar experiences.
