Landlord's perspective
Positive: They're efficient at finding good tenants and are quickly responsive to requests.
Negative: Hidden setup costs will surprise you. The total setup fee will be far higher than the number they'll disclose during your initial meeting. Aug the wifi Fridman makes every owner install comes with a hidden usage limit, which resulted in a bill 2.5x the internet bill initially communciated. Sept their payment system issued a paid receipt to a tenant before her payment was processed, which resulted in myself chasing down the payment on my own. Oct they failed to input a tenant's new contract in the system which might've resulted in lacking reminder.
Between the hidden costs, overquoted repairs, I'm not sure how to interpret Fridman's management quality. it was good in the early days.
Edit: Ran is reactive when these issues are brought up so proper responsibility/refunds are provided when brought to his attention.

We hired Fridman Properties to handle our rental for the past five years now.  They made the process easy and straightforward. Ran and his team are quick to answer, friendly, and trustworthy.  We always felt like we we are in good hands, they are top notch, highly recommended.

Words may not be enough to say how outstanding of an experience we have had with Fridman Properties since our move to Chicago in 2021! I mean, the Fridman Properties team are literal SUPERHEROES!

My husband, myself, and our two dogs moved to Unit GN in Chicago from metro-Atlanta, Georgia, and we came in not knowing much about what to expect about life in the big city. We didn't realize central heating and air, dishwashers, and in-unit washers and dryers were a luxury in Chicago, but thankfully all of the Fridman properties came with those! Ran and his team were amazing since the first contact before we moved - they assured us they would take care of us; they had outstanding virtual tours and instructions for the unit, and had even left us welcome supplies (food in the fridge and freezer, coffee and tea, fresh fruit and wine, and toiletry essentials) to get us started because they knew we were moving from a relatively far place, and wanted us to feel right at home as we settled in.

From then on, Fridman Properties were a text or a phone call away if we ever needed them! Any and every issue we have had, Ran and his team fixed immediately, and while our furnace was being repaired, he even brought us a heater from his home for us to use! When we had an unexpected power outage and had cleaners at the house while myself and my husband were at work, he got ComEd to turn the power back on in less than 30min! Superheroes! Ran has treated us like family and we never expected to get this kind of amazing treatment from a company or a landlord, and best believe their slogan and motto is true - they treat their tenants like family for sure.

We spent just over 1 year in Unit GN just to "try it out" and see if we liked the property, area, etc. Now, we are on to our next 2-year lease for Unit 1N, turning that 1 year into at least three (or more), and we are extremely happy with and thankful for the exquisite services and support we receive! Fridman Properties will treat you like family and ensure you are taken care of! They are professional, yet personable, and truly care about their tenants!

100/10 would recommend.

We have been with Fridman Properties for close to 4 years and we have found the experience to be delightful. We enjoy the clear communication, the prompt response to our service request, the family friendly community and the FP team and staff that help us with our tenant relationship.
When we moved into the community they offered so many additional resources to help us transition into their rental home and the Pullman neighborhood. They checked in on our progress and consistently asked how they could support us as we settled in. This was not a one-off deal for FP. This is a practiced and regular routine that is what is most impressive about FP.
We appreciate the rental home, their commitment to provide professional and family friendly homes in this community. Ran and his wife are spectacular!

We love this place! It is the second time we’ve stayed here this year. First of all, it is very conveniently located near our relatives in Hyde Park. But also, it is a lovely apartment and Ran is a wonderful host. The apartment is very stylish, with many lovely aesthetic touches. It is furnished with all the amenities one could hope for. We had no worries about security and could enter and exit easily by means of a key pad. Ran is extremely attentive to his guests and responds quickly to any query. The first time we came, we suggested the addition of night lights, and sure enough there where several of them placed at various places. Our stays both times were quite enjoyable and we hope to stay here again the next time we’re in Chicago.

We visited Chicago based on a recommendation from our friends. Walking into the place we were overwhelmed with elegance and a sense of a good taste.
Absolutely the most comfortable place I've been in my entire life. The bed is perfectly sized, the bathroom is right there (my second favorite in my entire life), the shower is gorgeous, and it's just a total kickass place. Nothing feels tacky or forced on this apartment. It was such an absolute joy to live here. The landlord is wonderful, as well, just willing to provide me the needed utilities in this lovely building without feeling overbearing or intrusive.
