I am in a wheelchair.my handicap tag has expired and I get in and out of my car from the passenger side of a normal space.i usually park slightly over the parking line to facilitate me getting in and out of my car with my wheelchair.there is an abbreviated handicap tag on the passenger side.the manager had the nerve to dress me down about parking as far off the parking line as possible with nothing next to me.even when I explained he STILL dressed me down for quite a few minutes.ans I counted there was just at 8:28 pm like 45 parking spaces.also I have a service dog.he helps me up the slopes and over the thresholds of the buildings.manager said he is not my service dog and although I go all the way around the building so my dog can relieve himself in the far bushes, manager STILL dressed me down saying a Service dog would never jump.he occasionally stands to give people I know, who like him a hug.got dressed down about that too.hes a young service dog only had him 5 months.also the price quoted was like 50 something on this ad yet when I inquired today about the rate with the milarary discount I even showed him my card,he quoted 81.00 per night.my family has utilized extended stay many years, and thus has SOURED my experience.then the manager said he would charge me 25.00 A DAY for the dog, because he said my dog is not a service dog.then he said I needed documentation, which is illegal for him to ask.someone needs to say I apologize to me.thw room was good.my dog never barks, and I don't know why the Manager here in Itasca Illinois has the freedom to be such a jerk to handicap senior guests!also I also had to request basic supplies,no one inquired if I needed anything ever.also the front door was locked.as I was getting my key to slide, the other front desk guy slipped behind me and my service dog to rudley insert his key, making my dog startle.i suspect he was 'the complaint" about my dog.honestly don't you guys have disability training?

Room was what I needed with kitchenette. But there were guest or workers Lounging in the lobby. A great amount of dog poop in the designated area even though bags we provided. Overall kitchenette and easy access to the dog potty area made it ok for the price spent $190 for 2 nights

My stay has been great. The staff are nice and are concerned about the guest experience. The hotel is clean and well maintained. There was an issue with the kitchen that needed to be fixed. It was addressed the very same day! Thank you to the staff at the Itasca location. You all are wonderful!!

only complaints:

•No wifi
•No full breakfast, only grab & go(not a lot of choices & they don't have bowls for their instant oatmeal, don't eat their blueberry muffins, they taste garlicky)
•No semi truck(bobtail) parking after I looked online at a site saying that they allow it

only reason why I'm giving 3 stars & not lower is because their rooms are ok & you do get a sink, stove & a full size fridge, so overall, I wouldn't stay here if you like full breakfast & wifi.

I recently completed a month-long stay at this hotel, and my experience was incredibly disappointing due to the hotel's poor service that is far below what one would expect from even a modestly rated establishment.

From the start, I encountered issues with room service. I initially contacted the front desk to inquire about scheduling room service in advance and was informed that I would have to wait at least two weeks before receiving any service (since I am staying for a month) and that they couldn't give me a specific day when. This was frustrating (added to the fact that she seemed disinterested and rude on the phone) as I needed to plan around my virtual meetings and ensure my dogs were taken care of during cleaning times. This conflicting information left me uncertain about how to plan my time effectively.

Later, I learned from a housekeeping staff member that room service could actually be scheduled any weekday, but the lack of clarity had already caused significant inconvenience on my part. Despite this information, I attempted to arrange for room service in advance to fit my schedule but received no satisfactory assistance.

The most troubling issue was that, over the entire month of my stay, I never received any room service. No one ever came to check if I needed supplies or to offer cleaning services. I had to repeatedly go to the front desk to request basic supplies, which was both inconvenient and unacceptable for a hotel stay of this length.

In summary, the lack of room service and flexibility in scheduling throughout my stay, combined with inconsistent information and poor communication, made my experience at this hotel extremely frustrating. Based on my experience, I would NOT RECOMMEND this hotel and advise potential guests to consider other options for a more reliable and satisfactory stay.

These are the worst hotels we've ever stayed at. There was nothing in the kitchen. No utensils of any kind. No accommodations. No shampoo in bathroom. No room service of any kind. The refrigerator was dirty. Beds are uncomfortable. Internet doesn't work. TV remote doesn't work properly. Room smelled very bad and person above us was noisy all night long. We had to change rooms. We travel often but will never stay at an Extended stay again.

I liked our stay here. They have a full fridge and small stove. Their Dining and cooking utensils package are included in the price. They have a small continental breakfast, but sometimes they didn't restock it during the week. They have a desk area to eat at or do some work. Was clean and felt safe. The only thing I didn't like was that no matter what time of day, you had to ring the bell to get service because no one stood behind the desk.
