After being turned down in the middle of the night by 1 company, another company went to voicemail, i called jansen after never using their service. They came in the middle of the night and got my heat running with a temporary solution and followed up
the next day and got me the replacement part installed the next day. Great service and reliable. I would recommend them to the next guy.

Jansen and his team are grate people and hard working. They upgraded my service from 100amps to 200amps, they also put a new electrical box with an extension to my garage. They trenched the new cable as well and added a EV Level 2 40amps plug in my garage. I recommend them to anyone. They’re super professional and very competitive with their prices! With electric cars on the rise in Freeport I highly recommend them to install your next EV charger at home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A couple of months ago I called for a service call and a quote on a brand new system. Jack came out and got my furnace running and promised me a quote on new furnace and a new air conditioner with line set and coil. I paid for the service call up front and still got an invoice saying I owed. Jack refused to return my calls regarding the quote. I tried three times to get ahold of him with no response. It was very irritating. I ended up going with Leosher heating and air conditioning and they did a fantastic job. They did the water heater too. The job was $10,000. Janson lost this job because of poor customer service and failing to provide a quote as promised. I do not recommend Janson heating and air conditioning.

I want to give a very heartwarming shout-out to the team at Jansen Heating Air Conditioning & Electric! I care full time for my disabled mother and relocating to another place to wait for a furnace would not be possible. They immediately sensed the urgency and didn't hesitate. Not to mention there is a winter storm on the way. I cannot express how thankful Mom and I are for their caring and amazing service. To Jose, Jack, and John...and we can't forget Sue, thank you all for being our "HEROS" and coming to our rescue. 🥰🙏❤️‍🔥

7/5/24 Edit: After leaving a 1 star review, Jansen was quick to call me to reschedule a time where an electrician could come over to my property. John the electrician was very friendly and answered the questions I had for him.

Unfortunately, after two hours of trouble shooting or $207 later, we weren't able to fully figure out the problem. Naturally, I was disappointed it couldn't be fix with a single visit, however, this wasn't John's fault. It just ended up being a bigger project than what I had expected. John did make all reasonable efforts of what he could control.

I'm updating my review to 4 stars since they did take action after a not so great review was left. The reason it isn't a five star is because I still had to go through all of that hassle which really shouldn't happened in the first place.

With that said, Jansen clearly made an effort to resolve my electrical issues. This project currently remains open.

To be clear, I don't like leaving 1 star reviews, but unfortunately this is the only review I could give Jansen based off the "customer service" I've received.

Over a 3 week time period of trying to get a electrician out to my property in Freeport (which is about literally 5 minutes away from their Freeport headquarters). I've talk to Julia, Jack and John from Jansen. All I was wanting is 4 interior outlets to get fixed. I didn't think it would be nearly the huge hassle on my part of having to call the company 4-5 times trying give them my business.

In fairness, I was put on their schedule twice, BUT they canceled on me both times. Did they call me to reschedule? Nope, I had to do that. I did get a call from John to let me know he was going to have to cancel my 2nd appointment, but that's it. Most recently, I was told by Jack (yesterday after I called them) that I'd get a call from the electrician to reschedule for the THIRD TIME). Did I receive a call? Nope.

I was polite every time I talked to Jansen, but it's quite clear to me that I was kicked to the curb and they don't really care. Zero follow up or anything of the sort. It appears that they prioritize the big jobs first, then IF there's any extra time in the day/week they try to do smaller jobs. Regardless even if you been waiting for weeks.

SUMMARY: In short, I'm very disappointed with their customer service. I can't comment on their quality of work since I could never get a electrician out to my home that's only 5 minutes away from their offices over the course of a 3 week time period.

I'm open to editing my review if Jansen is able to make it up me in someway. I'm not sure how, but I like leaving the opportunity there for the business. However, at this point, I'd honesty be surprised to get a call back.

We had a furnace blower go out during sub zero temperatures when we were out of town. Jack was called at the end of a day and did a great job locating a blower and repairing very quickly. His extra effort prevented frozen pipe damage. We highly recommend their services.

I called on a Monday because my furnace was not maintaining heat (eventually went out completely). After determining a replacement of my furnace was needed, measurements were taken, and furnace was ordered. To my surprise, I got a call Tuesday morning that they could come that day and replace it! By 4pm, the new furnace and thermostat were installed and we were bringing the temp up fast! With the 2 stage high efficiency furnace my home feels so much better. We maintain warmth steadily and I’m so grateful! Everyone I worked with was so friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I’ve owned this home for 12 years and they were happy to educate me on the new furnace so I can feel confident in operation and maintaining comfort in our home!!! Thank you so much Jansen’s!!!
