Perfect for toddlers . There are exhibits, activities, puzzles and books. The restrooms were clean.

I love it there.. the 5 mile walk around is so peaceful, & plenty of portapotties along the way if needed. The people who work inside the building are always nice. They sell live bait too if you're interested. Great place to bring a packed lunch. They also have an air conditioned room with tables as well.

Visited the Environmental Center yesterday with my 3.5 yr old. Becca was extremely kind to my son. She spent about 15mins explaining, showing and teaching my son about the animals that are in/around the reservoir. She made it fun, he was fully engaged. Getting to touch snake skin, a turtle shell and seeing a baby bat were his favorite things. Thank you Becca for being so sweet.

Great place for a 5 mile walk, run or also mountain biking very easy trail. The off trails that are pedestrian only are very beautiful.

Wonderful for a 2 year old! There are little information doors to open and a tunnel to crawl though. They have turtles and a big frog. There is a puzzle table with easy and hard puzzles. For older children you might want to combine it with a hike.

My family enjoys spending a lot of time there. The children are always in awe over the exhibits. The wall of animal tanks with turtles, snakes,frogs is wonderful. The indoor pool with white catfish & turtles is entertaining. The beaver den is cozy for the kids to crawl into. The theater room is a refreshing way to get out of the summer heat or winter cold. The kids love the Lego table & puppet theater, outside the white deer exhibition. I like the coloring table at the entrance with a big selection of wildlife to color by numbers. The facility is always clean inside and the grounds outside. The family enjoys looking thru the telescope by the boat ramp for the eagle's nest. Truly a beautiful place to visit all year long. Thank you for a warm knowledgeable staff.
