This company is awful. I was fine for the 12 months intro fixed rate.as my rate was about to expire i called to inquire to see if they had a competitive fixed rate for a period of time. They did not and that is where the nightmare started. The first call I had a very pushy rep try to tell me how much better their expensive power was and how they could save me so much money on their perks and their variable rate. I told her at least 10 times I did not want a variable rate and I was looking at a rate similar to what I was receiving and the conversation became so heated I had to hang up and call back. The second call the person told me that they had very competitive rates and my bill would have more than doubled and told them that I was going to cancel at the end of my contract. After that, I got pounded with calls, mailers, and emails trying to get me to stay on at the extremely high rate Also when singing up I told them that I did not authorize any solicitations or calls concerning offers//promotions. I still continued to get the calls and mailers even though I told them I authorized none of the communication and was done with them. I have a complaint to my state's attorney general over their business practices and will not recommend these people to anyone. They are predictors that pray on people who want to do the right thing and help the environment. These people should not be legally allowed to operate and hopefully there will be enough complaints that the attorney general will have a class action suit.. I would give no stars if I could..

My electric bill was cut in half here in Ohio. It went from 5 to 8 cents a kwh for this second contract but that's still way less than AEP Ohio. ( My electric is 1/3 of my bill, the rest is the additional charges AEP adds on, thanks Ohio). : (. Today I called customer service to renew for this second year and the CS rep was so sweet and funny and efficient. I really like this company - AEP not so much.

Firstly this company only sells electricity and does not make anything. Secondly their prices are three times higher than everyone else. Thirdly you can shop for renewable energy by going to the public service utility commission website in the state that you reside. Then follow the details to see the competitive energy suppliers in your state. I've had a great deal of adverse issues with this company because they send official-looking correspondence but it is all deception designed to get a sale in walk one into a contract. Don't be fooled by their sales information. And I encourage you to shop competitively for your renewable energy supplier. You will find that there are many out there and their prices are 50% or 100% cheaper. The quality of electric is identical. I've asked them numerous time to stop sending me sales information, but they continue to harass me by sending me the information that I don't want. They waste valuable resources and as a result are not environmentally friendly or renewable in their business practices at all. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a renewable energy supplier.

They tried doubling my rate after the first year. Going from 8 cents to 15 cents per kWh. 15.5 cents to be exact. 15.5 is almost double the industry average. They do this to scam unsuspecting and elderly people. 100% avoid, they are scam artist. Can’t possibly say they’re not when they double their rate after 1 year.

I have recently signed up for Clean Choice. Today was the first email I received. I was completely unaware of such rewards being offered. I think that is awesome. Hoping to win stuff someday. 🙂 In any event, I think it is a very nice gesture on their part.

I'm furious over clean choice energy. I got stopped at Walmart was asked about switching over from West Penn Power. I've literally gone close to broke. I have no clue how they're charging me over $400 each month. I strongly repeated my self with a NO!! WAS TOLD I STILL GET THE GIFT CARD. I never did receive. My electric bill is almost $3,000.. I spoke to someone 3 months ago and was told they were getting removed and still here you are. I'm very ill only make $900 a month and close to half is going to you crooks. You've robbed a disabled woman you should be so proud.. filthy human beings. Over $4000 you've stolen from me!!! I now see there's a law suit think I'm going to join in.

Just starting out, trying to figure out the app.
Not sure how to navigate the app yet, as far as browsing the rewards, and such.
All I saw was the enter to win contests. Hope there's more!
It prompted me to review.

The locked in rate seems good, I worry about after that though. We'll see.

The rewards program looks good to me (although I just started using it along with their services, so I guess I'll wait and see if you actually win stuff). I signed up for clean choice because I was told I would get $100 visa card for doing so, which was almost 2 months ago and I haven't yet. Also I was told usage charges would be the same, and I gor my 1st bull, clean choice charged 13c/kw while west penn only 8c/kw, I also have charges from both on my first bill, so I will be calling on Monday morning.
