This museum is great! My husband and I went here last week with my sister and her finance. It was a spur of the moment trip to Kankakee, coming from south Chicago. We did the train tour, and our tour guide was awesome. We all learned so much and loved the history. Definitely recommend taking the tour if you stop!

The station building looks very nice and there is some neat railroad history. The actual waiting room is extremely small and unwelcoming.

I have never been inside this Amtrak train transportation station before, I might like to visit it sometime. I have driven past this train station a long time ago in the past, driving down Governors Highway (Route 50).

Train is always late at night waited until 1230 pm for train suppose to be at 930 pm .

IT WAS NICE TO USE TO GET ON THE TRAIN IT WOULD BE GOOD IF IT HAD TWO RESTROOMS AND MAYBE AN EXTRA BENCH BUT I PLAN ON USING THE STATION AGAIN
