I came to Ivy Rehab to address some pregnancy related concerns. I was late in my second trimester at the time and was asked twice to lay on my stomach. I also wanted to discuss preventative measures to help with pelvic floor recovery after delivery and I was told to book another appointment with one of their female providers because the man doing my assessment didn't know much about how to treat pregnant women. I left somewhat shocked at the lack of knowledge of the provider I had. I just begrudgingly paid my bill for that session where I didn't get much solved. I would not try them again.

Dr. Rich and Dr. Kelsey are both extraordinary PT's! As a patient in 5 months since shoulder surgery I have made excellent progress and pain and range of motion has significantly improved as expected or better! I've been visiting Ivy for about 6 months for back related issues. They have been nothing but helpful and caring. Rich and Kelsey are top notch. They inquire as to how I feel and how each exercise feels. Besides improving my leg strength, I've learned a lot about the kinds of stretches and exercises that provide the biggest payoff. Beyond this we have a good time. A sense of humor goes a long way.

I’ve seen Rich for several different physical issues. He has been extremely focused on what would work best to get my body working well. I see the same focus from the other therapists in his office. I have been very satisfied with his approach to therapy and how he will work with his patient to tailor the best set of exercises that will work.

Unfortunately words cannot express how amazing Rich and Kelsey have been to me through my rehab. Without going into detail, my elbow surgery had some very concerning complications that the staff worked through for weeks. They went above and beyond anything I would have expected from anyone in their situation. I am forever grateful for the effort, time, compassion, and knowledge put forth for my recovery. I am pretty much at 100% now and it would not have happened anywhere else.

I had a complicated, unique surgery and needed to find a really good physical therapist that had knowledge of the specific surgery and the recovery process. I went to a few physical therapy facilities before going to Ivy Rehab and none of the other therapists had even heard of the surgery. Rich, at Ivy Rehab knew exactly what my surgery was. I really like that at Ivy Rehab my sessions were 1:1 with the therapist the entire session instead of being guided by an assistant with less knowledge and experience. Rich was extremely knowledgeable and was my biggest cheerleader in keeping me focused throughout my recovery when I wanted to give up. As he taught me to walk again and re-gain strength, he was constantly evaluating my gait in order to make corrections. He listened to my concerns and continually adjusted exercises to meet my recovery needs. He was very compassionate and genuinely cared about my recovery. I wasn’t just a “job” for him. He is clearly made for this profession! It was a very long recovery and I wouldn’t have succeeded without him. Rich is the fricking best! Mikie, the receptionist is also wonderful! I highly recommend Ivy Rehab!
