I signed up for the boudoir session after the bridal expo. I have never done anything like this before and I was super nervous. When I arrived, I was greeted by two friendly faces, Rachel and Kylee. Kylee did an incredible job on my hair and makeup and Rachel was absolutely fantastic to work with. Rachel guided me through all the poses that would work for me and my body shape. I felt comfortable and sexy. Highly recommend if you are looking for a boost of confidence. Rachel captured incredible photos of me that I will cherish for a lifetime. I found J.R. Owen at a bridal show. I was drawn to them because they are a husband and wife team and they really seem to care about the weddings that they shoot. We had several meetings before the wedding, locking down the timeline and making sure that all the important people were in the notes.

Rachel and Jeff both bring their own eye to the wedding photography. Jeff keeps things light, fun, and takes a TON of pictures. Rachel focuses on the artistic photos and sets up beautiful shots. BOTH take beautiful photos. It was a pleasure having them both photograph our wedding because we got the best of both worlds.

We got our photos extremely fast and everyone was extremely happy with the results. The other great thing is that Jeff and Rachel want you to be happy with your photos, so if there is a perfect picture but one person's eyes are closed, they are more than happy to fix it.

These are the people that you want for your wedding photos and videography. They are simply amazing. They have personality and make the entire experience so special. The way that Jeff and Rachel interact with you and your bridal party makes the entire day so easy and carefree. Weddings can be stressful as it is, but they streamline the picture taking so well that you don't even have to worry about that component for your day. Super hands on and go with the flow. I did a private shoot with Rachel last week and felt completely comfortable the entire time. She made the experience so much fun and getting my hair and makeup done made me feel like a princess. I had a delightful time and the photos are remarkable.

We first met with Rachel & Jeff based on recommendation from multiple family members who had used them for their weddings. Upon meeting with them for the first time, we cancelled all other appointments because we knew they would be perfect to shoot our big day! Rachel & Jeff are extremely personable and so much fun to work with. We used them for an engagement shoot as well as on the wedding day. Both sets of photos are AMAZING! We love how they all turned out. There is a perfect combination of posed and candid pics, as we had discussed when meeting prior to the wedding. On top of that, the turn around time for receiving the wedding photos was so fast! All of our pictures were given to us in under 3 weeks. They even put together a group of highlights that include the best shots. Also, we are so happy that we opted for the photobooth. It is an open booth so everyone is able to see how people are posing, which adds a lot to the fun/hilarity of it. Many of our guests have commented how much they enjoyed it. We even have 1 photobooth pic that has 16 people in it! Overall, choosing JR Owen & Co. was one of the easiest and best decisions we made in all of our planning. We highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a photography company that is friendly, professional, and knows how to capture and create beautiful moments on their wedding day.
